A Moving Experience for Our Family - Our visit to Arlington National Cemetery was really meaningful for all of us. We took the tram tour since the area is so spread out, and that made it much easier, especially with the kids. The tram was very convenient and reliable, running frequently and allowing us to see the key sites without tiring everyone out. Seeing the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier left a big impression. Our youngest didn’t fully understand everything, but the quiet respect and emotion of the place touched all of us.

The only good way to see Arlington Cemetery! - We had a great tour. Staff was organized and the guides were knowledgeable and made the tour very educational! The cemetery is enormous and we wouldn’t have seen a quarter of it without this tour. It’s worth every penny!

Knowing that we didn’t... - Knowing that we didn’t have the time or energy to walk the tour of the cemetery, this was a no brainer for us. The guides were very knowledgeable giving a lot of information. This is a great way to see Arlington. Highly recommend!

A DC cruise with MJ!! - The ride took us around the nation’s capital in an open air bus. We experienced all the sites DC is famous for. MJ our driver and tour guide was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and humorous which made for a perfect evening. We will do it again when we return to Washington.

Bus Experience Beware - Your was good however some of the people working were a bit aggressive 👀 . One tourist that was from Spain and didn’t speak any English was literally screamed at by one of the ladies working the tour. I felt really bad for their family. Consideration should be taken for guests when this is an impression of America in one of our most notorious cemeteries. A little kindness wouldn’t hurt. Felt like boot camp getting on and off the bus.

Check your arrival time, as you may not be able to complete your tour. - Given that this is an 'active' cemetery with funerals going on every day, I checked the website the morning before our tour. It said last tour would leave at 10 and tours would stop from 10:30-11:40. We mistakenly thought that only meant that no tours would be leaving out during that time. We were even told on the tram that we may have to stop or divert our route if we encountered a funeral (definitely understandable). However, we were only able to stop and see the Tomb of the Unknown because at 10:00, they started a 'sweep' clearing the entire place. We were not able to stop at any other site. I certainly do not want to disrupt or disrespect anyone's mourning, but if funerals are an active daily occurrence - then maybe don't start tours until later when they conclude.
