Definitely worth the drive in the countryside - 4 hour Alpillies Provence tour was operated by a seasoned guide. We attended a French speaking tour by some scheduling error, it was advertised in English language but we took the chance that we would enjoy it based on our other tour of the Carmogue area with this operator. We enjoyed the sights very much, beautiful countryside, a fortified city, a Roman aquaduct, an olive mill were some highlights. I would have learned more about the region if I could have caught more than every third word in French. My French was not up to it. But our guide talked the entire four hours and had others laughing and clearly enjoying themselves. We met other kind travelers as well. A couple from Quebec translated a little for us.

Alpiles, aqueducts, Baux, olives - I was glad we did this. Our guide Jean-Michel was excellent. His passion for the region and the history was obvious and I thought that he did an outstanding job managing the time to fit a lot into a 4 hour tour. If we had booked a full-day tour he could filled that up, too. Entertaining and informative.

Very enjoyable and informative - Jean-Michel was a delightful guide, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the Alpilles area. We walked along the ruins of a Roman aqueduct, and learned about the construction as well as the mill structure that was powered by the aqueduct. The drive through farmland and up into the hill villages was beautiful. We had time to walk the streets of Les Baux de Provence and enjoy a tour at an olive oil producer.

Camargue Alpilles Safaris , the must . - Magnificent safari both by the landscapes discovered , the very interesting explanations, and thanks to our passionate Guide Benjamin (a true native of this beautiful Camargue that he knows on his fingertips) and exciting, of great kindness and courtesy, he was a perfect Guide.
