Wonderful tour of Kefalonia! - My mom and I decided to take a last minute trip to Kefalonia and we are so glad we booked this tour! Pick up and drop off were easy and on time. Our guide, Wendy, was full of information and stories about the island and its rich history. The bus ride was comfortable and allowed for us to see a lot of the island thanks to our bus driver Mihalis. I do wish there was a bit more time allotted for Assos and Fiscardo, as we were a bit rushed in those two locations. Overall, this tour provided a great way to experience the island without having to rent your own car.

Perfectly organised and interesting trip over the island. Thanks to Maria! - We had a wonderful experience with Maria as our guide. She was very professional and made the trip both interesting and enjoyable. Everything was perfectly organized, and we got to see some truly beautiful places. Highlights included visits to Assos and Fiscardo, as well as the spectacular Melissani Caves. It was a memorable day, and we would definitely recommend Maria to anyone looking for a great guide!

Stunning day tour! - This was an excellent tour of portions of Kefalonia. Our guide (I think her name was Maria) was exceptional on the September 22nd day trip I went on. Our driver was magnificent in navigating a large bus on some twisty roads. We had a beautiful sunny day, which amplified the stunning scenery. I only wish we could have spent 15-20 more minutes at Assos. I was the only person on the bus who made it all the way to the top of the old castle. I only had a few minutes to spend at the top before I had to turn around to come back.

Well worth a visit - Lovely location with Watersports and free loungers as long as you buy food and drinks from the cafe. Cafe is value for money and the staff really friendly. You can even get an on beach massage (in a tent for privacy) A must go place for a day visit to the beach

Great tour on a beautiful island - We had a very enjoyable trip and, without a car, we could not have seen the lovely landscapes and town of Assos and Fiscardo. Our guide Duska was great, very knowledgeable and caring. She covered every aspects of Kefalonia, history, food, wines, nature, earthquake, war, and legends (Duska made it so interesting that I bought Homer's Odyssey when back in the UK!). We preferred Assos as Fiscardo was very busy (it's probably worse in August). The wine tasting on our return to Argostoli at the Vine Boutique was an added bonus. I recommend this tour which is a very relaxing way to see this beautiful island without the stress of driving (thank you to our very skilful driver).

Day to remember - The coach picked us up right outside our apartment and I was surprised how roomy and how cool the coach was after reading previous reviews. We hadn’t hired a car so this was the perfect cheap way to see what Kefalonia can offer, the views were stunning and although the driving took longer than we were expecting our tour guide was fantastic and I found the information given out was a perfect amount of history, geography, religion, food and quiet time helped by the tour’s humour and kindness. The caves were ok, I wouldn’t have wanted to drive all that way in a hired car and then just went to the caves so again this was the perfect way to do it. The queue was only about 20 mins because we arrived early. The Fiscardo and Assos stops were stunning and only spoilt by the fact the time flew by. I would definitely recommend the long version of this trip because a shorter one wouldn’t have given enough time to enjoy the stops. Finally the views and pics of Mycros were amazing

Awesome day tour of the island. - This was the perfect island tour and the highlight of our holiday. Our tour guide, Katerina, was amazing, very knowledgable and probably the sweetest person we met while in Kefalonia. My daughter and I enjoyed every part of the tour, it was not rushed, we had enough time at each stop, and got to see some beautiful highlights on the island. Our bus driver, George, was an excellent driver and managed the winding roads like a true expert. One very small negative, is that when I booked the inclusions said that we'd each get a map and a small cultural gift, we didn't receive either, which is fine, but I think this should be removed from the inclusions list.

Fantastic sights but..... - I recently took the tour that promises a journey through beautiful countryside and picturesque villages, which initially seemed very appealing. However, I must express my disappointment with several aspects of the experience that significantly detracted from what should have been an enjoyable trip. Firstly, the coach provided was far too small and uncomfortable. Every single bump on the road was felt sharply, making the journey quite unpleasant—my wife even remarked that yesterday’s jet ski ride was smoother! The so-called "air-conditioned" coach was a misnomer; the air blowers barely produced lukewarm air. Moreover, if you were seated on the outside seat, you couldn’t benefit from the airflow unless you awkwardly leaned into the person next to you. To make matters worse, we were seated in the second row from the back, where it was impossible to hear the guide’s commentary. This meant we missed out on important information about the places we visited. When I raised this issue with the staff, their response was dismissive, stating that “no one complained yesterday and we used the same coach.” Such a reply was not only unhelpful but also lacked any empathy or willingness to address the problem. While the scenery was undoubtedly beautiful and worth seeing, I would hesitate to take this tour again with this type of vehicle and under these conditions. The discomfort and poor customer service seriously undermined the overall experience.

Avoid this tour - The towns and views were exceptional and lovely, though the stops were a bit too short, but this was overshadowed by the very unpleasant experience while traveling. This tour was advertised as a ride in an air conditioned bus. There were warm fans, but no cool air and the fan did not reach the middle seats, so one had to akwardly lean onto the person on the window side to get air. Also, it was not a smooth ride, but very jarring unless you were sitting in the middle seats. Having low blood pressure, this heat caused difficulties causing some health issues. The heat inside the bus was too hot, especially for a tour advertised as providing cool air-conditioning. Top that off with not being able to hear the tour guide Wendy's commentary made the point of a guided tour pointless. When my husband brought this to the attention of the tour guide, her response was dismissive, merely replying that yesterday's tour didn't complain and they were using the same bus. She didn't apologize or offer a solution or show regard for good customer service. The windows for viewing the scenery were dirty and smudged, the ride was incredibly hot, jarring and completely unpleasant and the commentary, although lengthy and probably well detailed, was inaudible to our seats toward the back. It was a very disappointing trip and honestly put us off taking any tours in the future. You would be better off renting a car and driving out to the locations yourself. If you're looking for a relaxing, enjoyable tour into the beautiful Greek countryside, with a cool, comfortable ride and commentary that can be easily heard, maybe look to another provider.
