Additional Information

Our adventure begins in Los Glaciares National Park, which is situated roughly 80 km from El Calafate city.

The glaciers housed within this Park, formed over centuries and even millennia, testify to the vast expanses of ice that covered sections of the earth over the past two million years—a timeframe encompassing the dawn of humankind.

Established in 1937, Los Glaciares National Park received acknowledgment as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.

Upon our arrival at the Park, we will be greeted by the spectacular view of the Perito Moreno Glacier. An optional boat ride is available for those interested.

Undoubtedly, this adds another dimension to your visit—you’ll get to marvel at the glacier’s impressive landslides, not just from the height of the walkways, but also from the lake level. The glacier’s face varies between 40 and 80 meters high above the lake, adding to its grandeur.

Dream - Who goes to El Calafate has to make the complete tour, at least in the glacial Perito Moreno, including the sailing, plus a dream realized.

Excellent guide tour, explains everything very well! They are also very kind as all Agentinos, I leave with a full heart - It is a place that once in a lifetime you must visit! Wear ideal clothes, perhaps water for the road and an empty memory on the phone or camera because it is oara to take millions of photos. I really enjoyed coming in winter season! It's perfect.

Great experience, highly recommended! - Here’s a review based on your experience: --- Visiting this site was the highlight of our trip to Argentina—a true natural wonder! The booking process with the tour company was seamless. They were very proactive and responsive, making the entire experience worry-free. Opting for the included transportation was a fantastic choice. Our tour guide was outstanding, picking us up from our hotel in a great vehicle, and making several stops along the way for us to take pictures and enjoy the breathtaking views. The guide was both knowledgeable and friendly, enriching our journey with fascinating insights about the area. Adding the boat ride was definitely worth it; it enhanced the experience immensely. While it’s possible to organize this visit on your own, having the tour guide made a significant difference—no worries about arranging transport (as Ubers aren't an option) and the added value of their knowledge. Additionally, it was a pleasure to connect with fellow travelers, making for a delightful day. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Argentina!

Very good - The tour of the Perito Moreno Glacier is unmissable... we loved it, seeing the glacier, walking along the walkways and taking the 1-hour boat ride... You can see the glacier from another perspective. Thank you very much for the good service you gave us. RWe will recommend you

Maybe I no longer feel the need to travel to Antarctica; we were up close to some impressive ice, here. - A good guided trip to a great destination. Adding the boat navigation made the trip very personal. The observation walkways gave quite the expansive perspective.

Great views of a stunning glacier - Great tour. Hotel pickup was right on time, the driver and guide were great, and the glacier is beautiful - you get great views. Definitely recommend adding the boat tour to get the most out of the day. Park entrance is not included (currently 12,000 pesos). Food isn’t included either so either bring lunch or you can buy it at the little cafe by the walkways.

Amazing Perito Moreno Glacier !!! - Beautiful glacier. Well organized trip with nice tour guide. Enough time to take photos. Pasarela was the best thing for me. Walking a bit to get close to the glacier. Hear when the glacier is moving and cracking. Weather was also good. If it is rainy, then you don't enjoy the trip that much.

A must experience from El Calafate. - Take the boat to visit this enormous glacier up close. A must visit. Wear hiking shoes. The hike before the glacier visit is an added experience as you walk thru a forest that is more like a rain forest than an old growth forest but you'll see many large old and interesting trees.

Very good experience, highly recommended for first time travelers. - All very well, as a suggestion they should be more in touch with travelers, as they do not give many reports and one is left with doubts, concerns. They wanted to come by us to a hotel that has no service (konke hotel) until I wrote to them and told them, in the end they came by us in another hotel, but outside of that all very well. Again, have more communication with travelers for more peace of mind of the itinerary.
