Sightseeing and a wine tour - We have visited many sights with Ayrarattour: Khor Virap, Noravank, Areni-1 cave and we had also a wine tour in Areni. It was amazing, the guide was telling everything so interesting that we didnā€™t notice how the tour came to the end! The car was really comfortable, everything was excellent, thank you very much for making our trip so special!

I highly recommend Ayrarat tours - We booked a wine tour with Ayrarat tours, and were very happy with everything. They came to pick us up at our apartment, drove us to Karas winery where we spent a few hours and then left us by our apartment again. Armen at Ayrarat tours is very friendly and service minded and ensured we had a pleasant time. I highly recommend both Ayrarat tours and Karas winery!

Best wine tour ever! - Do not leave Yerevan without booking this unforgettable wine tour to Karas Winery located in the Armavir region! The tour included pick up from my hotel at 10.00 am. My guide and his driver warmly welcomed me and surprised me with a gift bag of Armenian mountain thyme, traditional Armenian sweets and a magnet. On our one-hour tour to the winery I received a wealth of information about Yerevan, Armenian cultural heritage, geography, current affairs and of course traditional cuisine and wine all while taking in breathtaking views of Mount Ararat, fruit orchards and vegetable beds on our road trip. At Karas winery our lovely wine guide joined us. The wine tour started with a drive through the vineyards. During the drive the history and the high-end technology used in the winemaking process was explained. We stopped at the panoramic viewpoint for breathtaking views over the vineyards. Back at the winery the tour continued with a highly-informative visit to the wine-making facilities. The highlight of the tour was certainly the degustation of five wines (red and white). Unlike other wine tours the wine tasting did not feel rushed. On the contrary, great attention to detail was given to make this an interactive, highly enjoyable and unforgettable experience for the guest. The tour also included a 2000 AMD voucher for purchasing wine on the same day. Needless to say that after the degustation of the exquisite wines you will not let it go to waste! After the wine tasting I was driven back to my hotel. The tour ended at around 3.00 pm. A big thank you again to my guide and driver who were so nice to stop at the farmersĀ“ market along the road in my quest to get Armenian pomegranates. Thank you also to Nona for always checking in with me and making sure I was having a great experience. Extremely professional and sweet service which I can highly recommend to any traveller visiting Yerevan.

Great Experience - Our tour started with a little present and care taking for our convenience by the tour guide. Comfortable car and experienced driver. At the winery Karas we were welcomed very friendly. Got a hat for the outdoor visit and a lot of time for the tour indoor. Our guide from Karas was very professional and spent 3 hours with us. She took care of each question and everything we needed. We got a lot of information about the winery project and philosophy. We were impressed by the social project and I felt grateful for what the owner does for the Armenian People. The tasting itself was a highlight. We were guided through sparkling, white, rose and red wines with an excellent knowledge of our Karas guide. Of course we knew the wine before. Now we love it even more! We bought a bunch of different wines. Taking pictures was allowed and so did we. On the way back home we decided to visit the winery for sure again.
