Delight in an integrated wine and art affair in the distinct Amarone Venetian Villa and Chateau, established between the 1500 and 1700’s. This is the very heart of Valpolicella’s history. You will savour the acclaimed wines of Gaetano Bertani’s family, one of the founding families of this wine region. Your tour leader will escort you through the grand neoclassical buildings, rooms adorned with frescoes, enchanting gardens and the timeless vineyards of the Clos. Following that, the tour takes you into the natural wine drying spaces, the original production area for the Amarone Classico Riserva, and into the imposing ageing cellars housing barrels that are over two centuries old. Every tour encapsulates a sit-down wine tasting.
