• Arba Minch - Upon your arrival, we will greet you at the airport and then drive north through Ethiopia. Our journey will take us through the stunning mountain ranges and dense forests of Mount Entoto. After a two-hour drive, we will arrive at one of Ethiopia’s esteemed monasteries.
• Debre Libanos - Debre Libanos is a historic monastery located northwest of Addis Ababa, founded in the 13th century by Saint Tekle Haymanot. During our visit, we will explore museums housing ancient Bible collections and religious crosses. We will also tour the church’s interior, including the tombs of the monastery’s founder. Following this, we will embark on a 10-minute hike to a cave that served as a prayer area for Saint Tekle Haymanot.
• Portuguese Bridge - Our final stop will be the Portuguese Bridge at the Blue Nile Gorge. Here, you can marvel at the breathtaking landscapes and spot Ethiopia’s endemic Gelada Baboons, as well as a variety of Ethiopian birds.
