- We did the tour with Sofia, our Italian guide. It was a pleasant 3 hours, we saw a part of Tokyo less touristy but extremely charming, with vintage shops, the cemetery and curious anecdotes. Sofia was very kind and attentive, responding to our curiosity. Highly recommended.

A bit of old Tokyo - It couldn’t have been any hotter, yet, there was our guide with a ready smile on her face that never wavered. She came prepared with visuals assembled neatly in a binder. She gave thorough explanations at each spot. And I actually learned some things about Buddha and what the curls on his head mean!

Wonderful Tour - Mutsuko was a wonderful tour guide. It felt like we were a walking with a friend through a new city. She answered all of our questions and showed us new places, foods, and aspects of Japanese culture that we would have never learned on our own. A must try for h

Yanaka with Shizue - We did the Private Yanaka Walking Tour with Ms. Sue (Shizue). We had such an amazing time talking to her and getting her one on one expertise. It was very hot the day we went and had my 11 year old son but she would always make time for water breaks and to rest. She would also involve him while explaining history to us. We are very happy we got to experience the "other side" of Tokyo. Thank you Ms. Shizue!

Very nice walking tour - Maybe it was the rainy weather, but the tour was very nice. There were no crowds. The tour wasn't fast paced. Our guide - Kiyo - showed us around old Tokyo and answered our numerous questions.

A fun and very worthwhile experience! - The walking tour was fantastic! We visited a lot of very interesting sites and Sue, our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She spoke English very well and shared her knowledge about Japanese history and culture. It was the right amount of sites to see in the allotted time. The walking was not hard as it was fairly level and along sidewalks and paths. It was a hot day but we had plenty of shade and could stop for refreshments as needed. A very worthwhile tour!

Incredible beauty and history - The tour was absolutely amazing! Yanaka is so rich in history, architecture, stories about the temples, and we finished with a walk-through one of the cutest, authentic shopping lanes in all of Tokyo. Our tour guide Machi was wonderful and I simply cannot recommend this tour enough. LOVED IT!!

Great Walking Tour! - Had a great tour with Michiko - she was very informative and took me to all the hot spots in the area. Yanaka is a really nice spot - a lot of art/temples and less busy compared to other areas in Tokyo.
