A beautiful and fun day! - This was a very enjoyable day out. The journey through the mountains to get to both attractions is long and scenic but worth it for the experience. The YS falls are naturally stunning with the option of swimming pools and zip line and the rum estate tour was interesting and fun.

Beautiful falls and estate - Nigel picked us up and took us to the beautiful Y’s falls. We went swimming, rope swinging in the water and after seen the Appleton estate with a tour through there. Nigel was a great driver and tour guide. You have to bring cash to get into falls and the estate so make sure you bring enough. Make sure you confirm the time you are getting picked up at the day before, reach out to Nigel if you haven’t heard anything before going to bed

Extraordinary in every way! - If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The YS falls are amazing, more than we expected and the distillery was as interesting as entertaining. Our driver Jermaine’s service was A1+. Flawless vehicle, right on time, great conversation and most of all, helpful and understanding. He was an excellent driver in the winding roads to our destinations. Well mannered, polite and gentle are the least adjective I can use to describe his service. 200% recommended

Real Jamaica at its finest. - Had a wonderful time with our tour guy Willy. He not only drove us to our destination but shared his island with us along the way. This tour was well worth the price if you are wanting to learn about the island that you are visiting. We stopped along the way and experienced Jamaican coconuts, fish and bammy. We got some great pictures along the way. As a travel agent, I will be sharing this tour group with my clients from AAA.

The mighten tour experience - Nigel was extraordinary! We went on a tour to Appleton estate and on the way he took us to juicy patties where we had some of the best I’ve ever tasted. On the way he allowed us to take pictures of the scenery and even had us try some pepper shrimp from a spot that he recommended! After we went to pelicans bar we got to swim in the ocean have a few drinks and he captured some the most memorable moments while we were there. And finally he all had dinner at birds view restaurant. Overall amazing experience!! If you’re in Jamaica you make sure to link Nigel for the best tour experience!

Lots of fun, worth the long drive — just get in touch in advance! - At first we had trouble contacting Nigel at Mighten's Tours to confirm our pick-up time two days before, and then again the day before. We wanted confirmation that the excursion was still happening, so finally the evening before we heard back and were told that pickup time would be at 8:30am, which we were not thrilled about (it didn't specify on the Viator page)... but at least we got confirmation! Plus it was needed, as it ended up being a full-day tour. We expressed right away that we wanted to be back by around 5pm, with time to freshen up before sunset. Unfortunately, on the way back from Appleton's, Nigel stopped somewhere along the way in order to get his trunk looked at (it was broken from a recent accident where he was rear-ended). We really wished that he had asked us beforehand about that stop, or better yet, waited until our tour was over before having it looked at. It felt like a detour that ended up taking us longer to get back to our resort, with a drive that's already 2 hours long...plus we were extremely tired and since lunch is not included, super hungry, so we really did not appreciate this. (It also did NOT land well to have him WhatsApp me a link to review the tour immediately after that stop had occurred, while we were still in the car and in disbelief over what had just happened.) So the tour ended on a rather sour note. Despite our request to be home by 5, we ended up being home at quarter after, in between meal times. So we had to wait over an hour still to eat, which was frustrating. Also for those expecting a quiet or peaceful ride, know that calls will be taken and made for the majority of the time. While this wasn't ideal, what was worse for me was the club music playing the whole time that was not of our taste. This made it a bit more unpleasant than it had to be, but I recognize this may not bother everyone. Otherwise, Nigel was a great tour guide who took the time to point out local plants, trees, and crops, even stopping to let us sample some local fruit like coconut and star apple, which we loved! He also took a beautiful scenic country road after YS Falls towards Appleton's, which was absolutely beautiful. YS Falls definitely exceeded our expectations, and the Appleton Estate was all that we'd hoped it be and more! One final note is that Nigel was coming from Montego Bay, so the drive for him was extra long to get us in Negril. Having known that we would have booked a tour operator out of Negril. All the above said, we still highly recommend this experience! Thank you again Nigel!

The Appleton tour was... - The Appleton tour was nice. The grounds were lovely. Ys Fall was nice too. The falls and setting were all beautiful. The driver we had for our tour took us to a property along the way to try and sell the us a home. Not cool.
