You will have approximately 50 minutes to enjoy on one of the most stunning locations in Thailand, and if you lucky you can witness black tip reef sharks.
Notable rules at Maya Bay include no swimming, no single-use plastics, using reef-safe sunscreen and no use of drones without permission. Please remember that the Mu Koh Phi Phi Marine Park will be closed every year for 2 months during low season, usually in August and September.

Lush vegetation climbs the cliffs behind the beach, creating a haven for a colony of monkeys. Keep your eyes peeled – at low tide, you might spot them playfully foraging for breakfast right on the shore. While we won’t be stopping at the beach itself, this glimpse of paradise is sure to be a highlight.

The island is almost shaped like a heart and is entirely surrounded by a strip of white sand. It offers great snorkeling opportunities with a shallow line of corals. Its central part is covered with lush vegetation including Casuarinas and Bamboo trees that gave its name to the island.

- While the monsoon season (roughly May to October) brings increased jellyfish sightings due to water movement, these graceful creatures can appear year-round in the Andaman Sea. To ensure a safe and enjoyable swim, consider asking your tour guide
- While Monkey Beach isn’t a direct stop, you can still observe the monkeys when the tide is low
- Ensuring your safety is our top priority. To that end, we strongly recommend wearing a life jacket throughout the entire boat ride to the islands and while snorkeling.
