Additional Information

Koh Hong archipelago, also known as Hong Island, is made up of roughly a dozen islands, many of which are too small for their own beaches but the largest island boasts several beautiful beaches. The Hong Islands have been designated as a National Park and offer pristine natural views. However, the place still remains uncrowded due to its vastness.
• Embark on a day-long trip to the Hong Islands (including Lading Island, Pakbia Island, and Hong Lagoon) aboard a traditional longtail boat, a vessel formerly used for fishing by the local inhabitants.
• Swim and snorkel in the clear waters of a secluded lagoon, discovering the marine life that the islands have to offer.
• Leave your concerns behind and let a sturdy longtail boat whisk you away on a remarkable day trip to Krabi’s undisclosed paradise.
• Relish a delectable Thai buffet lunch served on the beach and benefit from the convenience of a pick-up and drop-off service directly from your hotel.

Great tour for snorkelling and the 360 Hong island viewpoint - Good day out with many snorkelling opportunities. Picked up from hotel and taken to the pier. Time for toilet/change clothes and some complimentary snacks and drinks. First stop only for snorkelling with many fish to see. Taken to another island to have lunch on the beach. Beautiful location. Finally 2 hours at Hong Island. We did the nature trail, snorkelled and walked to the viewpoint. Good amount of time spent at each placd. Didn't feel rushed. Everything was sorted for you. Good friendly guide! Fruit offered on return and dropped off back at hotel. Thank you for a lovely day!

An enjoyable tour, highly recommended - I really enjoyed this trip. I was picked up around 8am, which isn't too early in comparison to other trips I've been on. We were taken to the pier to catch the boat and whilst we were waiting we were all given free drinks and snacks (tea/coffee/chocolate, sweets, cakes) which was really nice. We stopped off at a number of bays so that we could go snorkeling, and although I didn't get in, it was a good opportunity for photos. When we arrived at Hong Island we were all given lunch, and I was really surprised when they gave me a vegetarian meal. I've been on other trips and really struggled to find a veggie option other than salad or chips. The meal they gave me was sweet and sour tofu with rice, which is one of my favourite dishes. We were also given fresh watermelon and pineapple slices. After that we were free to explore the island on our own for a few hours. The beach here is absolutely stunning and there are plenty of areas where you can shade from the sun. The 360 viewpoint is up a really steep mountain with around 400 steps to the top. It was a struggle with the heat, but it was totally worth it to see the stunning views of the other islands around the Andaman Sea. If you decide to climb it, I recommend wearing trainers rather than flip flops or sandals as the steps are really narrow and easy to trip. There is a nature trail which goes around in a loop, although the only wildlife I saw was a monitor lizard. There is a nice little cafe on the beach that do amazing ice fruit smoothies at a very reasonable price, although they do tea/coffee and snacks too.

BEST EXPERIENCE. - So they say that we've to book the boat a day before we're planning this trip, but in my case we're here to relax and not sure that we'll wakeup at 8AM. So we got up at 10AM and planned and booked our trip at 10:30AM. One important thing to note that there are two different boats which go there, one is a speed boat which is quite expensive if you book( I guess that needs to be booked a day before your trip). The other one is a long tail boat which they've mentioned 2500BAHT which we bargained for 2300BAHT. So our trip starts in the water along with waves from Beyond Resort and we enter Hong island Lagoon, where we tried snorkeling, but there were no fishes over there. So we moved further to Hong Island 360° view point, on the Hong island. There's entry charges as soon as you get off the boat, and for the view point, you have to climb too many stairs (through there are 4-5 resting points in our way). But the climb is worth once you get the view Next on the island beach you can swim, do kayaking or can snorkel and can see different fishes which is mesmerizing. Our last point was Pakbia beach which doesn't have a good beach, but you may like it as a picnic spot.

Okay - Our tour guide Jun was kind and made sure everyone got their photos. You get what you pay for with this trip as its quite cheap so lunch was poor in comparison to the other trips I've had. The long-tail boat is slower so makes for a long day, I'd recommend a speedboat tour instead

Beautiful seeworld and Islands at the assembly line - The nature and islands were beautiful, unfortunately it was relatively crowded, maybe because we went on the weekend. Boat after boat came, unloaded people for schnorcheling, gathered them and went on. The guide was very unfriendly, impatient and rushed us in and out the boat without any explanations or information about the wildlife or how to protect (!) it. On the Hong Island he didn‘ t even wait until the whole group could listen when to meet again. The Long Tail boats themselves are loud and stinky. Considering the environment, I had a very bad conscience, although it was amazing to see this (so far) beautiful area.
