Don’t walk, but run to the tour! - This trip was amazing! We were the only ones and rented horses which were well taken care of! The guides were great and the ladies helping us make pizzas were amazing too! We were not rushed and learned lots too. The views were amazing and we loved it all! Do it, do it, do it! One thing if you get motion sick take some meds as the drive is windy!

A wonderful walk up pacaya - An amazing experience up a spectacular volcano. The tour guide was very friendly as well as extremely knowledgeable, pointing out various floral and fauna on our accent. The view was breathtaking at the summit and we didn't feel rushed to move, allowing the group ample time to take in the sight and take lots of photos

It was fun, but you need to be athletic - The volcano is much more difficult to hike than I expected, if you’re not in peak condition take the horse they offer it’s about Q300/$35 and they do not offer discounts.

Volcanic experience! - An unforgettable experience for me and my daughter. Everything went well, also with transport and punctuality. Very well organized. Professional and attentive guides: Carlos and Benjamin. Mashmellow roasted with heat from the volcano (with lava... of course only when there is!).  The road has a medium level of difficulty, with steep hike and some flat sections. Spectacular view! Thanks for everything

Amazing, fun, worth it - We ( Group of 4) had such an amazing experience, our tour Francisco was awesome, friendly and patience with us! This hike was a challenge for sure, but worth every moment! Our cabins had the essentials we needed but definitely bundle up! I highly recommend this!

Great experience - Well organised, fantastic trip. Bumpy in the back of the pickup truck going up the mountain but was quite exhilarating. Took the comfy seats inside coming down though! Guides were good. Only a short 45 minute trek from drop off to base camp so was achievable for us in our 50's. Only 2 X suggestions on where they could improve 1) Only have 8 people in the accommodation rather than 10, as 10 was too many. 2) Also, split the accommodation into groups for those that do the extra Fuego trip and those that don't, as we got woke up by people coming back late after the Fuengo trip. Overall though very happy and what a spectacle.

Fun fun - Wonderful hike! One of my favorite parts of Guatemala. I was unable to do the overnight hike so this was perfect. It is tiring but totally doable so long as you take breaks every once in awhile and are in decent health. The roasting the marshmallows part was not that exciting but that's fine.

Volcano tour - Carlos, any his brother was amazing and guiding us. The tour is very punctual. It is about a three hour hike, and it takes about an hour to get up there by van. I highly recommend it was so much fun! Also, remember to take snacks, water and good shoes with you. If you're doing the evening hike, a flashlight will be helpful as well.

Wonderful views, tour logictis can improve - The tour was very nice with wounderful views and good vibes from the entire group. Pay attention climbing Pacaya is a trail at meduim-high difficulty, not easy as some suggest. Why I gave only 4: - The communication with the company is lacking, they take their time in answering whatsapp - The local guide in the Pacaya park did no speak english!! We booked an english tour. We were lucky to have a member of the group to tranlsate.(but the guide were helpful and nice non the last!!) - the tour is very rushed and of you don’t keep up, they want you to get on a horse (300Q) - The bus was very crowded, as they merged 2 buses into one.

Moderate hike with good guides and fantastic sunset views. - The actual hike is shorter and less demanding than I expected. The drive from Antigua is a full hour on twisty roads, then you hike up about 400m over 3.5 km. It's not a tough hike if you are in good shape, and there's the option to ride a horse for an extra charge if you decide that the climb isn't for you. Guides Sergio and Jorge were great. The hike takes you through the forest to a old side crater for good views in all directions. Then you go down to a 2021 lava flow where the guides warm some marshmallows for you. Take care if you step off the trail there as the rocks are sharp. I did the 2 p.m. hike, so we stopped on the (much gentler) route down to watch the sunset, which was spectacular with views of Agua, Fuego and Acatenango.
