The tour gave us a new appreciation for each cup of coffee we drink by understanding the full process, from bean harvesting to roasting. Best coffee and avocado farm experience! - We absolutely loved this tour, right from the moment Michael picked us up in Antigua. After a short, comfortable drive to the farm, we arrived and were able to experience a thriving, environmentally conscious farm that grows coffee beans and avocados! Michael was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and we even had a Michigan connection (as well as a connection with Adventures in Missions). We picked, roasted, ground and drank our own coffee, made our own tortillas and guac from the avocados on the farm, and also tasted honey from the hives. We had an 18 year-old with us, and she really enjoyed her time, as well. This was such a great, personal experience, and I would recommend it to anyone!

This was such a personal and special tour and left us feeling very connected to our roots. We learned not only about the farm but got to know about Maykol and his family.

Don't miss this sustainable living experience! - This experience was amazing! Michael, the owner of Little Green Farm, came to pick us up in Antigua and show us around his family-owned farm. He does organic and sustainable farming as well as beekeeping! We picked coffee berries then roasted and grinded the beans to make our own coffee! We also made our own guac with avocadoes from the farm and ate them with amazing homemade tortillas that we helped roll out. We learned all about his family, the land, sustainable farming, etc. We toured the property and learned about the technology hes built to maintain the farm and the vision he has for the future; including soon to be AirBnBs on property! This experience was so much more than I expected and I would recommend it to anyone in Antigua for a truly unique experience! Michael is so kind and we had a great morning!

Michael, the owner, absorbs you into his livelihood and passion for the true meaning of sustainability and circle of life. I will definitely come back hopefully with my kids and others. Incredible Cultural Immersion - We had an absolutely amazing experience visiting Mykol’s farm! From the moment we arrived, he and his daughter welcomed us with such warmth and generosity. It was incredible to get a firsthand look into Guatemalan culture and values through their way of life. The farm itself is a beautiful reflection of sustainability, tradition, and community. We loved learning about their approach to farming, tasting fresh ingredients, and hearing the stories behind everything they do. It’s clear that Mykol is passionate about preserving and sharing his culture, and it made our visit truly special. If you’re looking for an authentic, immersive experience that goes beyond the typical tourist stops, this is it. Highly recommend visiting if you get the chance!
