Super authentic coffee tour - This morning we went to the coffee plantation with our guide Delmy and farmer Martha. Here we have all the explanations about growing coffee. In addition, on the way there we received explanations about the different flora and fauna we encountered. We were also able to ask all questions about guatamala, history and life. The tour ends at Martha’s house where you can roast, grind and brew your own coffee under her guidance.

Fantastic Educational Experience for the Whole Family - We got far more than we expected from this experience! The tour guide offered well-informed commentary on history, culture, and economics along with the nature and coffee tour we expected. He and Marta, the farmer who showed us her coffee crop, shared a lot of engaged information and an unexpected warmth and hospitality. We would do the tour again and recommend it to our friends. It's a family-friendly experience; we even took our seven-month-old baby with us and had no issues.

immersive coffee tour - the guide and the coffee farmer were eager and pasisonate to share what they know about coffee, farming and other aspects of guatemalan country life. i was originally hesitant to join after having participated in one coffee experience a few days ago in el salvador. this visit was far more in depth and gives perspective on the intricacies of coffee farming, plant biology, the actual hands on picking, processing, roasting and making of coffee. i really appreciated it

Excellent Tour - We were unsure what to expect as this was our first tour in Guatemala and with Viator, but we were very impressed. Louis met us right on time and was so personable and friendly. Martha was our guide who shared so much information about coffee from seed to cup. Though she spoke little English, Louis did an amazing job of translating. Both Louis and Martha were thoughtful, attentive and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor despite the language barrier. As a matter of fact, with Louis as our translator, we didn’t feel that there was a language barrier. We were fortunate in that my husband and I were by ourselves in the tour so received such careful attention. I believe both of our guides would have done the same though, no matter how large the group. The hike was not difficult but I would recommend hiking boots if available. My tennis shoes got pretty dirty by the end. We would highly recommend this tour!
