-
St-Paul-de-Vence - Explore Saint Paul de Vence and see why it has become one of the most famous Provencal medieval villages, attracting illustrious international figures in art (painters, poets, actors) and even politicians. Optionally, we can visit the Maeght Foundation (1 extra hour: 80€).
-
Vieux Eze - Perched like an “eagle’s nest” at 429 meters high, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Eze village is one of the oldest medieval villages on the French Riviera. The true gem of Eze is the breathtaking view of the coast. The village’s narrow streets, filled with charming craft shops and art galleries, reflect Eze’s rich history. The two watchtowers at the entrance, along with the posters and the gun-boat, are listed historic monuments. Upon request (advance booking required), you can take a break at the Chateau de la Chevre d’Or hotel terrace to admire the stunning view (extra hour: 80€).
-
Parfumerie Fragonard - L’usine Laboratoire Èze - Visite Gratuite & Guidée - Enjoy a free guided tour of our factories with a guide trained by a professional perfume maker who is well-versed in the history of the trade. Learn about the manufacturing techniques and the history of these precious fluids, and test your sense of smell with a free olfactory game at the end of the tour.
-
Prince’s Palace - Join me for a short walking tour on “the Rock,” a tall monolith on the Mediterranean coast of the Principality of Monaco. This “cultural Monegasque immersion” includes a visit to the magnificent square of the Prince’s Palace, the Changing of the Guards, a visit to the Cathedral (where Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier are buried), and passing by the famous Oceanographic Museum, Monaco City Hall, and the picturesque post office. Relax in the old city with its typical narrow streets as I explain the origins of the Grimaldi Dynasty in the late 13th century and how the Principality has become globally renowned. Extra hours available at 80€/hour (Prince’s Palace: State Apartments visit - admission cost: 10€/adult, Oceanographic Museum - admission cost: 19€/adult).
-
Monte-Carlo - Drive past the luxurious yachts in Hercule’s Harbour and follow the same streets as the Monaco Formula One race, one of the world’s most prestigious racing events held every May. We will then stop in Monte-Carlo, the heart of Monaco, for a minimum 30-minute visit. Here, you can admire the famous Casino Square, take your time to photograph the elegant Monte Carlo Casino with Garnier’s Opera behind it, and see the luxurious facade of the Hotel de Paris, the terrace of Café de Paris, the beautiful Hermitage Hotel, and the Metropole Hotel with its unique shopping center. This is the perfect opportunity for me to share more about Monaco’s incredible economic expansion from the late 19th century to today.
-
Promenade des Anglais - I suggest driving along the Corniche seaside road from Cap d’Ail, which offers dramatic coastal views. We will make a 5-minute stop at the world-famous Villefranche’s Rade so you can capture the moment with photos. We will continue driving along the coast to reach Nice Lympia Harbour and the Nice British Promenade.
