Great experience for foodies! - Great experience with a lovely guide where local food artisans were combined with a bit of sightseeing. We enjoyed tasting some truffle products, ate a very delicious tartiflette lunch, enjoyed some cheese tasting with a glass of wine, tried locally made preserves including some unusual flavours and had a delicious dessert of our choice with our lovely guide Sylvie! We were lucky to be in a friendly group of 8 in total.

Arrive hungry - Our experience with Sylvie, our guide, was outstanding. She was a wealth of knowledge and clearly passionate about introducing us to Annecy’s exceptional culinary shops. We sampled a variety of truffles, delicious jams, cheeses, and desserts, and enjoyed a traditional French lunch in one of the smallest restaurants I’ve ever eaten in. Highly recommend!

Beautiful city - We loved this beautiful city very clean with bike paths, footpaths around the lake allowing very nice walks. The surrounding mountains are also beautiful with beautiful hikes. We made a paragliding flight. Extraordinary experience with magnificent views. It's all great experiences.

Annecy Food Tour - It's a good walking tour with some good information on Annecy. A few food stops but minimal tasting. Suggest integrating food markets fr a better experience.

Enjoyable walking tour with great guide - My wife and I attended this tour earlier this week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It started off with a gourmet cheese tasting in an award winning cheese mongers, with a small glass of white wine to accompany. We then moved on to sample a local tartiflette, taste some truffle products, have a very nice (and large) dessert and finished off with a couple of handmade chocolates. Our guide Delphine was wonderful - friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the local area and the food we were given. So why 4 stars instead of 5? Honestly, it was mostly a "value for money " issue. The only drinks on offer were water apart from the initial glass of wine and a thimble of truffle limoncella . We probably had about 50 euros worth of food each, for about 150 euro cost. I'd maybe have liked to try some local fish dishes rather than quite so much cheese. These are relatively minor quibbles though. It was a lovely few hours walking around the streets and learning some of the towns history

Tour was fun but not as... - Tour was fun but not as good as in previous cities. Didn’t feel we experienced the real taste of Annecy.

First off, I would like... - First off, I would like to say that this is not a bad reflection on the tour guide, who was very personable, but on the tour itself. The description was a misrepresentation of what we experienced on the tour. 1.  The pictures shown (as well as the description) included a charcuterie tasting that we did not receive. The description also includes wines(plural) and we only received one tasting of aa small pour from an already opened bottle split between 12 people. 2. 2/5 stops were simply free samples that anyone walking off the street could also enjoy for no charge. These were also not specific to Annecy. 3. If you add up everything that we ate over the course of the tour, which was maybe 25-30 euros worth of food, which is upsetting considering it was the most expensive food tour on our trip at over $160 usd per person.
