Highlights
  • Cais Turistico de Santa Luzia - Cais de Santa Luzia is a complex located in the center of Angra dos Reis, considered the most traditional point of departure for visitors to the islands and schooner tours. It faithfully represents a little of the history and tradition of the municipality, mainly because it joins the fishing culture with its fishermen and colorful boats, worthy of a photograph during a walk in the late afternoon with the unmistakable beauty of the sea in the background.
It is an image that has always inspired, over time, countless plastic artists in the transformation of this scenario into beautiful watercolors.

Starting point of the boat.

  • Freguesia de Santana Beach - Simple beach of medium length, usually receives some visitors during high season, who find auqi a great option to relax due to the calm of the place. Beach predominated by fishing activity, its main visitors are fishermen, who live nearby. It is a good option for those who prefer less busy beaches to rest and replenish their energy. With a spacious strip of golden sand, it has a calm sea, which looks more like a natural pool, with transparent waters.
  • Lagoa Azul - In the middle of a small archipelago, the Blue Lagoon enchants by the tone of the water. The natural pool resembles the colors of the Caribbean and turns the place into a favorite of visitors for snorkeling or simply enjoying a swim in the sea.
  • Aracatibinha Beach - Simple and quiet beach, it is surrounded by large rocks and preserved native forest. It is small and cozy, great for those looking for a good place to rest. With a good strip of golden sand, it has calm and transparent waters.
  • Lagoa Verde, Ilha Grande - In this natural aquarium, which is the Green Lagoon, we can find several types of marine species such as fish, mollusks, corals, rocks and stones and even sea turtles. With a little luck, you will see some of these wonders of the deep sea.
  • Praia de Japariz - Stop for lunch at a typical restaurant in the region, the restaurant has the advantage of passing the menu inside the boat so that customers can choose the meal and it will be served as soon as it reaches the beach.

We have the option of lunch at a self-service buffet, which consists of: fried fish, fried chicken, beans, rice, various salads, mush and pasta.

My experience in Angras dois reis! - everything was 100% memorable. Elainne was so nice and humble with us. She is very professional. She picked up us on time and explained everything in three languages. The boat was fun and a unforgettable experience. The four beaches are incredible. Maybe the only disappointment was the food. It was a buffet but it was cold and not very enjoyable. The way back to the hotel was smooth and faster than I thought.

Fun boat trip to Angra dos Reis - It is a fun full day boat trip. Our guide was Felipe. He speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish. Everyone gets picked up from their hotel by 8:30am. Arrive at the boat around 11:30. First, you get to swim with fish all around. Then, you stop at some beaches. You have enough time to swim or relax on the beach. Last, you eat dinner, buffet style. Dinner is over at around 4:30pm. Back on the bus at 5:30pm then arrive back in Rio at around 8pm.

Nice excursion but not too ecological , Latina music thoroughly , a whole atmosphere! Caipirinha offered - Excursion more partyboat than ecological discovery! The beauty of the place is revealed only for those who go there on their own and stays there for a few days

Average nothing extraordinary - Friendly activity without more - It takes more than 2 hours of travel by coach from Rio (lots of stops in Rio) - boarding is on schooners with a lot of people (2 buses per schooner) and sono full - 4 stops planned including one with diving (count 10 Reals mask and snorkel rental) to see some fish. The other stops are average, nothing extraordinary, just for a few pictures - As for the buffet... it is very very average (drink and dessert to pay) and lunch at 4pm you have to have a good breakfast before - in short it is average

Very joyful tour to go with friends, but not with family - Good plan if you are going with friends, but if you are planning going with your family, you may skip this one. The feeling around the boat was more of party, a lot of people smoking, dont get me wrong, I dont feel uncomfortable in that space, but children may not feel in a space for them. Overall is a good experience for the price you pay, the food was bad, but it wasn’t that bad if you think about the price, but yeah, I recommend you to bring some extra reais so you don't depend on the food provided by the tour. Our guide was a bit messy in the way she organized the tour. I’ve been to other beaches around the world, and Ilha Grande beaches are good, but not fantastic, if you have gone to other type of beaches like the ones in Florida, Galapagos (Ecuador), NorthEastern Brazil or in the Mediterranean sea in Europe, you may also skip this tour, the beaches arent that spectacular as those.

Good experience but needa some improvement - We had a good experience so far. The beaches were beautiful and the landscapes too. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our time. However, there are some things that need some improvement. For example, lunch was very chaotic and messy. Also, we had to wait a long time for the drinks we ordered at the bar in the boat. Another thing was that they didn't respect the times at the stops and took longer than what they told us.
