A cultural and culinary delight - A wonderful cultural and cooking experience. Susantha and Piumi welcomed me into their home and provided me with a culinary experience like no other. Highly recommend this wonderful cooking class!!!! - We absolutely loved this cooking class! From our prompt pickup and great communication, to the lovely drive up to the house for the class. We made a total of 11 curries and they were all delicious! Our hosts were so gracious and we all had a wonderful time!

An authentic cooking class - Thanks to Piumi who opened the doors of his home and kitchen located 30 minutes by tuk tuk from my hotel in downtown Colombo. Very welcoming and kind, she masters Sri Lankan cuisine to perfection. She gave us a tailor-made course, with all the step-by-step explanations on ingredients and cooking. We ended up around his table with all the ready meals and it was incredible, a real treat! Probably the best combination of curry I’ve ever eaten and I was able to bring a portion back to my spouse for him to drop, he feasted. Many thanks to Piumi and her family for this beautiful culinary break from my stay in Sri Lanka! Initially I had to cancel my first booking because my son was ill and she offered me an individual course, finally there were two of us with Martin from Berlin and it was a very good time!

Highly recommend this cooking class - We had really great experience with the cooking class of Piumi. It was super nice to be invited to the family home and learn how to cook a proper Sri Lankan dinner. Piumi gave a really good explanation for the cooking and the food was super delicious. It was an amazing start to our Sri Lanka trips Also, it was made sure that we were safely brought back to our hotel in Colombo by tuk tuk, thanks for that!

Authentic Sri Lankan Home Cooking Experience - Went to this cooking class from cruise ship docked Columbo. This was a brilliant experience. The family (Susa and Piumi) are very welcoming a speak excellent English. We learnt about all of the ingredients and the cooking process. We had an go at preparation and some of the cooking. This is an authentic home cooking experience. We made around 8 different curries, cooked rice and learned how to do coconut milk and coconut roti, and at the end we enjoyed the delicious meal with all dishes tasting superb. We came away with full bellies and a full local experience. Highly recommend

100% must do experience - This class exceeded all my expectations. The choice of curries, the organisation and the environment were exemplary. The tastes of the various dishes were out of this world and I cant wait to use the recipes sent to me to feed my family and friends at home. This was a "must do" experience. Thank you

Delicious food and lovely family - This cooking class was the best way to end our vacation in Sri Lanka. The friendly family welcomes you into their lovely home and teaches you how to cook the most delicious Sri Lankan dishes. 10 different dishes and our stomachs and hearts were full. We would recommend this experience to anyone interested in taking in a culinary experience. The level of hygiene was high. Don’t miss out on this.
