just great! - It was great! Super nice people and the best food we had in Sri Lanka. We attended the cooking class at the end of our trip and it was the best ending we could have imagined. Highly recommended! ❤️

Perfect end for our trip - The Cooking Class at Piumi was the perfect end to our Sri Lankan stay. She has involved us in all cooking steps and fully engaged with our wishes. We learned a lot of new things and were also told the things that were still a mystery to us during the trip. The food was super delicious and worthy of one last Sri Lankan dinner. We had a wonderful, heartfelt afternoon with Piumi and family, and would do the cooking class again at any time.

Amazing. - It was a great experience! They explain the spices and ingredients used in each dish, and they teach me carefully. You can also shave coconuts and experience things you can't normally do. And I was really surprised by the skill with which he was able to complete 10 kinds of dishes. If you are coming to Colombo, I highly recommend it!

Unforgettable experience! - Cooking with Susa and his family was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed into their home. Together we prepared a variety of traditional Sri Lankan dishes while learning about local ingredients, recipes, and family traditions. It was not just a cooking class, but a genuine cultural exchange, filled with laughter, stories, and wonderful food. The kindness and hospitality of this family made the experience truly special and unforgettable. We will always treasure this memory. An unforgettable experience that we would highly recommend!

Cooking Class Gem in Colombo - My family and I had a great time at Piumi's cooking class in Sri Lanka. She picked us up at our hotel and took us to the Pettah Market where she helped us pick various produce that we would use to cook our meals.
She took us to her kitchen after that where we prepped all the food together with her coaching us all the way. We prepared various curries that got to feast on at the end of the event.
The class was so fun and I am so glad we got to do it. After the class she sends you all the recipes so you can practice back home.

Great host, home chef and teacher - Piumi was such a delightful host and knowledgeable home chef - the venue is her home which is just about half an hour away from colombo centre and can be easily reached via uber. Within a span of 2-3 hours, we cooked 6 dishes excluding rice. She was so generous in imparting her knowledge and sharing little tips on Sri Lankan cooking. I had an amazing and wonderful time and to top it all off, the food was absolutely delicious. My faves were the potatoes, dhal and fried eggplant (must try!).

Authentic cooking in a home environment. - A great experience cooking 10 amazing curries with Primi in her home. She made us feel so welcome, explained every step clearly and encouraged us to participate. Then after fun, learning and laughter we got to enjoy a really delicious meal. Highly recommend.
