十分心动 - 司机兼向导带队十分专业。过程有趣轻松,讲解丰富易懂,路线涉及景点优美。总体而言收获颇丰。整体流程较长,适合第一次游览的朋友。 The driver-guide was highly professional. The tour was fun and relaxed, with beautiful sights along the route. My friends and I all gained a lot from the experience.

Wonderful day trip with nice guide Zoe to Great Ocean Road! - During my first business trip to Melbourne, I only had one day to join this tour to explore the Great Ocean Road. The amiable guide Zoe gave me a very good day. Fortunately, we visit the 12 apostles at perfect time, leaving me a unforgettable photos and memories. I’m very grateful.

Spectacular and memorable day out - This was a great day out - and at 14 hours a full one. The Great Ocean Road has spectacular and varied scenery and rich history. We experienced it all in a tour that was included several leisurely stops along the way. Our driver and guide, Ben, kept things moving without ever feeling rushed, and shared his deep knowledge of the road and the area. We capped off a memorable day with a spectacular sunset at Loch Ard. Highly recommend this tour and guide!

The tour guide let us down and spoiled an otherwise beautiful day. - I felt every stop was very pressured and rushed. The guide rushed even the elderly and I witnessed a man almost lose his footing when being told, “Come on, hurry hurry hurry”, but not offered assistance on uneven, wet, slippery, crowded ground at a non-scheduled stop to view koalas in roadside trees. Terry, our tour guide, was very focused on time. He told us it was his fifth day in a row doing this long day tour and wanted to keep his record of no delays. I personally found him very curt and bullying when 3 of us fell behind the group on the rainforest walk. As a 65 year old woman with hidden mobility issues and unable to walk quickly because of arthritis in my feet, I was pushed beyond my abilities and found myself exhausted, in pain and short of breath as I was being rushed along. I commented sarcastically that I hoped he can do CPR, and he told me he could, “give my chest a good pump”, with appropriate actions. Terry didn’t ask if I have any cardiac problems, or if I was ok, continuing to herd me quickly towards the bus. He didn’t appear to care that I was struggling to keep up, although my companions showed constant concern and compassion along the way. We were 10 minutes late. I feel if he needed to be so time conscious, on such a long walk, he would have been better shepherding us from behind. A good leader ensures the pace is set for the slowest. We were all surprised by how long the loop walk ended up being. I would suggest that the Colac leg of the tour could be cut in Winter because it was growing dark as we drove there, nobody could see out of the fogged up windows and we arrived in complete darkness. We were given no information about the town up to and after arrival. I asked and Terry could not articulate that it is a timber logging town, and I am still none the wiser other than I saw a logging truck go past… The quality of eating venues was poor. I thought at least we could have enjoyed nice food, but basically were offered junk food and noodles. Terry told us not to eat at the Thai restaurant because the food is awful and limited our options further. I was very tired and would have rather arrived back in Melbourne an hour or more earlier where I could have eaten at my hotel. I’m afraid the tour guide ruined the day for me. The commentary was poor, Terry’s strong accent was difficult to understand, his vocabulary was poor and sentences disjointed. The history he told was very sketchy and incomplete. I was disappointed that local significant landmarks such as a beautiful lighthouse or towns were as we sped past them. It’s not good that the guide chats with his front seat passenger and relies on the other travellers to go to sleep or just look out of the windows. I looked for postcards in Apollo Bay but could not find images of things I had actually visited. I’d have to write, “I saw this as we whizzed by”. I know you can’t stop everywhere, but would have enjoyed better commentary. I thoroughly enjoyed my Puffing Billy tour today with Robby who was the polar opposite of Terry.
