Highlights
- IJ - Behind the train station we find the free ferry boats which will take us to Noord on our path out of town
- Krijtmolen d’Admiraal - On a tour full of windmills we’ll see our first one before we even leave town.
- Landsmeer - We’ll take the narrow paths through the north and see some surprising monument along the way.
- Het Twiske - The Recreational area Het Twiske is a great place for locals and tourists alike to enjoy swimming and relaxing.
- Zaanse Schans - The highlight of the tour will be our extended stop at the Dutch Heritage site the Zaanse Schans. Here you’ll have time to explore and perhaps grab a quick bite.
- Zaandam - Another ‘dam town. We’ll take a peek at some very unique homes turned hotel in this cute city near Amsterdam
- NDSM Wharf - We’ll re-enter the main city via NDSM werf. Depending the ferry there may be time to explore around as we wait for the next departure.
- Centraal Station - We’ll wrap up the tour at the central station before heading back to the shop to say goodbye.

Additional Information
Discover beautiful Holland on an idyllic cycling adventure. After a short ferry ride and an easy 20-minute cycle through the north of the city, we’ll reach the countryside, encountering charming animals and the aroma of chocolate in the air.
We’ll cruise towards the iconic Zaanse Schans, where there’s free time to explore, take photos, visit cheese and clog stalls, or savor a delicious Dutch pancake.
Our return journey, we’ll pass through Zaandam, and the NDSM part of Amsterdam Electric bikes are provided, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride for the approximately 40km distance.
Important notes:
Bike riding proficiency is required. You must be capable of riding a bike within traffic for short periods.
Min. rider height is 1.50m/4’9’’ for adults, 1.55/5’1 for kids.
Two smaller kids bikes to 140/4’6 message for availability
Tour runs rain or shine - we supply high quality ponchos.

No refunds for no shows/late arrivals or cancelations.

The shop is centrally located about a 5 minutes walk from either Dam Square or Central Station. Avoid Taxis, Ubers, and take public transport, it's easy!
Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of the tour to set up the bikes and go over safety.

Great ebike tour! - Great experience getting out of the city and seeing Amsterdam!
Guide was knowledgeable, e-bikes were easy to ride & overall great experience.

Highly recommend! - Absolutely incredible!! We were hoping to get out of the city to experience more of nature and this was it!! The views were spectacular and the pacing was perfect. The one downside was for my 9 year old who wanted his own bike, so he was disappointed (he rode on the back of a cargo bike which was a really cool bike, but not what he was hoping for). Other than that, we loved the experience and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Best Day Ever! - We did this tour and it was so much more than we had hoped it would be! Our guide was fabulous and we had a wonderful group. Most definitely a must do when you visit Amsterdam!

Wow! What a joyful outing. - Wow! Seriously one of the most fun organized outings we’ve done. Our guide was fantastic, she was patient, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and took great care with our group of 11 including 3 kids who had the time of their lives. We biked 24 miles under power and next day feel just fine because the bikes really do so much of the work. the paths are stunning and give a great perspective of the beauty of the countryside. Thank you, it was absolutely well worth it. Will do the same with this company next time we visit the area. Also helped us try out the electric bikes and considering buying some for home. Super easy and a great way to get back into shape. Highly recommend!
p.s. stop for lunch was delicious with so many options, Dutch pancakes a must!

Amazing Bike Tour - My husband and I loved this tour. Our Tour guide was fantastic. The electric bikes make it so easy. We road through the country side and stopped at a working windmill. The kind gentleman who lives in the windmill gave us a tour and demonstration of how it works.
It was an amazing experience to ride through all of the villages and residential areas. We would not have gotten to see so much had it not been for this tour. So enjoyable and relaxing!!

Excellent Adventure! - Joanna was fabulous! Kept us safe in the city center traffic and gave great historical facts at each stop.
