A fabulous way to spend the day! - Arrived early (as we always do) to find David had the same idea. He found us easily and off we went on our tour. Was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a private tour of just the three of us so the tour was completely tailored to what we hadn’t yet seen. David was a pleasure to be around, full of knowledge about the city and even managed to get the teenager of the group involved (not an easy feat at all!!). We learned loads of facts that we would not have discovered had it just been the two of us wandering aimlessly around. So glad we booked this tour, and would recommend it to all ages and interests. Despite not having a great interest in art, I found David’s knowledge of it fascinating and he may just have sparked a slightly interest in it for me! Thanks David. He gave us loads of ideas of places to eat and visit, some of which we will be looking into for our remaining days, others which we will be saving for a future trip to Amsterdam. A fully enjoyable 3 hours that seemed to fly by! Better than I could have expected. Xx

Best Amsterdam Tour Ever! - David was an amazing tour guide!! He shared so many fun stories about Amsterdam and showed us the rare and hidden gems of the city. Terrific walking history tour of Amsterdam - I have done many a walking city tour, and David was a terrific tour guide! My fiancé and I booked this tour to get a sense of the city, its history and food - David gave us all of that! He has a rich knowledge of the city’s history and a wonderful sense of humor! I would highly recommend this walking tour if you’re in Amsterdam and looking for a guided history tour of the city and culture!

Best walking tour in Amsterdam? - We met David for this walking tour with our 2 teenage kids. David was very personable and knowledgeable about the history of Amsterdam and took the time to really explain details which made it a wonderful experience for all of us. He really knows how to engage the kids and keep them interested. I’ve been to Amsterdam several times but learned more in these 3 hours than all the other trips combined. I can honestly state you can’t go wrong with David and you will be very happy with your experience!

Good fun and interesting tour - We have been to Amsterdam before but wanted to understand more about the city and the Dutch, so we joined a history walk. It was a real eye-opener. We saw parts of the city we had never seen before, and we heard lots of details we never knew. It is not a heavy history lesson. It's more like a really interesting story with lots of very amusing insights. We had a small group, which made everything feel more personal. David has a very relaxed approach and made everyone feel involved. We loved it and cannot wait to come back again.

Tour of old Amsterdam - We booked our tour for a Sunday morning ( which I would really recommend as the city was quite quiet and relaxed- also fewer cyclists!) . As a family with 3 children ranging from 21 to 12 yrs we really loved the tour and David made it really interesting for all ages- we do tours regularly and all 3 kids said it was the best yet. David Is the Best! - What an enjoyable and informative tour! Tour guide David brings the city’s history alive with his knowledge and enthusiasm for the city. His love of Amsterdam shows as he explained both important places and shared personal anecdotes. I appreciated the small group size as it was easy to meet the other people and ask David questions. David keeps the mood fun and light and the time flew by. So glad I saw Amsterdam with one of the best guides.

Looking to Learn About Amsterdam, THIS is the tour you want to take! - I've been to Amsterdam many times over the years but never learned as much in such a short time as I did on this tour. We didn't need to walk for miles since Amsterdam is so full of history at every turn of the street. Our guide was so well informed and had such a great personality that we never felt we were sitting in a boring history class in high school. He was careful to monitor the group to discover what our capabilities were, where our interest was and when we needed to relax, laugh and grab a snack. We took his card and will take another one of his tours the next time we're in Amsterdam. He was the best guide I've ever experienced.
