Fun and Educational tour at Royal Coster Diamonds - Rosa was an amazing tour guide! She walked us through the diamond polishing area, showed us different diamonds, and went through the different characteristics of diamonds. She was so knowledgeable and fun throughout this experience and we learned a lot from her. Highly recommend!

I was surprised that we... - I was surprised that we had a private tour. It made it more special for our mother. The staff was both charming and knowledgeable.

A brilliant day at Royal Coster Diamonds in Amsterdam - I got in contact with Royal Coster Diamonds since one of my hobbies is collecting loose diamonds and gemstones. I know a lot about diamonds, the diamond trade, diamond cutting etc. On advice I booked the Royal Experience Private Tour. After the tour I spend even more time in the different showrooms with the friendly, competent and hospitable staff memember. I highly recommend this tour. The gift bag you will receive is really brilliant.

Recommended guided tour - A care of 10 from the first moment. We had a Reservation for a guided tour and we were attended individually and not as a group. Great everything. They gave us a nice discount on the purchase and we left very happy. They also invited us to a drink during the visit and after the purchase, to champagne to celebrate. Thank you so much!

Fabulous experience - We visited out of pure interest, not to buy any diamonds. We were shown around by a lovely knowledgeable gentleman who was not only too happy to answer all of our (sometimes silly) questions but provided us with a thorough explanation of the diamond cutting process. It was fascinating to see all the diamonds whilst learning why their own cut is considered one of the best in the world. There were opportunities to select and buy diamonds and have them made into jewellery if you wished and when I’m next looking for a special item of jewellery I would definitely return.

Fun with diamonds! - Really enjoyed the personal experience and the “gift bag” was so fun! My 19 year old son also liked it and learned a lot!

Save $50 - Was greeted by someone who hardly spoke English. Didn't want to show us anything about the diamond making process. Was whisked away to a showroom. When we started to walk out saying this whole thing was a sham and we came to see the diamond making process, a lovely woman intervened and chased the idiot that had been assigned to us away. She salvaged the visit and gave a very nice tour and a presentation of very beautiful cut diamonds. She also gave us a bag of token gifts but it wasn't worth $50.

Unclear check in meant we ended up on wrong tour - The check in process was unclear, and an employee seemed unbothered that were there and simply told us to head into the next room. We were then invited a join a tour by another employee that happened to be starting, so we joined. However it became clear that this wasn’t what we had booked for, with the tour lasting only 30 mins not the hour we had booked for. What annoyed me was that whilst we were listening into the group tour, our private guide noticed we were there but did not bother to pull us aside and let us continue with the short version. It was still interesting to understand the process of polishing and cutting diamonds.

Tour for commercial purposes only - It was a visit solely and exclusively for commercial purposes, technical had very little. For those in the industry it is better to let go of money and time wasted.

Not worth a diversion - There are not many reasons to bother with the 30 minute free "Diamond Factory Tour" of Coster. We assumed we would get to see a cutting/polishing demo but, in fact, we were just told about the 4 C's, taken to a safe room to see some examples of various grades of diamonds and then directed to the shop and the entrance to the museum for which you pay a charge. We felt it was all a big a waste of time and just designed to whet the appetite of customers who were trying to build up the courage to splash the dosh. For us, it was a disappointment
