Pay the money for first dibs and a VIP experience! - Our guide was incredible, and starting when the museum first opened was the ONLY way to do it because after the first 30 minutes or so, the place got loud and crowded! We signed up for a curated small group tour, but nobody else showed up so we had a private VIP showing of some of the most iconic works of art. She took us directly to the paintings that were going to be the busiest, first, and explained the history, the painting style, the artists, the culture... her knowledge was endless, and she had a great sense of humor. If my feet weren't so tired so many days into our vacation, we would have stayed for hours more - but our 2.5-hour crash course on the greats was with every penny. Pay attention, ask questions and wear comfortable shoes (LOL)... highly recommend!

Great experience! - We (my husband and I), loved getting in exactly when the museum opened, and thereby missing the crowds in the first hour. We were a small group, of only 3, on a Wednesday morning so that was amazing. . Our guide, Timm, was young, enthusiastic and well educated in art and art history, and was easy to hear and understand. A really fantastic experience all around!

Another amazing tour! - We did all tours with this company (Walks/Devour) in Amsterdam. This one was a great extra after the Amsterdam in a day tour to go in depth of the Rijksmuseum. Again great experience ! Well done and thanks again!

Very interesting Tour through the Rijksmuseums collection, much recommended - I had a great time at the Rijksmuseum, Holly is a very knowledgeable guide, and knows to tell a both funny and engaging story. We were shown a very interesting selection of the museums collection, from the well known Nachtwacht to lesser known masterpieces. Would very much recommend!

Great overview of the museum's treasure trove - The museum is huge, so it's nice to go on a tour that takes you to see all the major highlights in one go. Holly was an amazing guide with a very informative and entertaining story to tell. I strongly recommend the tour.

Amsterdam in a day - We only had a 24hrs stopover in AMS and wanted to make most of it. Usually we explore on ourselves but considering the limited time we decided to book the full experience with a guided tour. It was the best way to spend our time, we were guided through the highlights and Dutch history at the museum, we had a canal tour and a walking tour in the medieval part of town. Our guide knew a lot to tell and knew her way around very well. We even tasted some local delicacies. The day started at 08:45 until about 15:45, so a full day. A bit tiring but absolutely worth it.

Great experience - Super nice and interesting tour. The guide was great and knew a lot to tell. Because we were one of the first in the Rijks museum we could have the Night Watch all to ourselves. Truly an experience!
