Must do attraction - One of the best touristy things we did in Amsterdam, we learned so much in this tiny but well laid out museum. The audio guide was excellent and it gave a real insight into the world of the red light

Kevin is the best!! - Even though it was lashing rain, Kevin was excellent. He's a fountain of knowledge & we learned so much about the area that we have never have known without him.

10/10 - I loved this tour. It was so interesting to see the rooms staged and the history of the building. The confession wall was brilliant, we spent ages reading them all!

A good place to learn about prostitution - Not much to see but there is a lot to learn. You can have a headset and booklet which talks you through what its like to be a prostitute. I like how it acknowledges that some women choose to be a prostitute and that it can be empowering for them, but also raises awareness that anyone visiting a prostitute is obligated to report signs of trafficking or abuse.

Worth a visit - Nice and interesting museum. Based on an audio in your own language, you visited the museum individually. Based on stories of a fictional prostitute, you will learn about their work, their professional and private life, what they experience, appointments, ... It was very busy when we visited it in the evening. It is best to visit after dark anyway. This is because of the atmosphere with all the lighting. During the day passed there and blended in. I wouldn't have visited. But in the evening it stood out and exuded atmosphere.

Worth a visit - The content is here quite accessible and importantly, it presents the voice and perspective of the sex workers. It's a relatively small space (and doesn't require a long visit) so manage your expectations in how much depth there is but it's certainly worth visiting.

Better drink this money. - The so-called museum is a rather boring and small installation accompanied by an audio guide voiced by a prostitute from Russia. Where did she learn English? A story to promote to collect money from tourists. All in all, the inspection will take 15 minutes. And it costs 14.5 euros per person. Better just drink that money.

Skip this one - Independent walk through a mock house of prostitution to read about the red district. Signs to read along the way.
