- Groothandelsgebouwen N.V. - Just outside the station, you’ll see the Groothandelsgebouw, once Europe’s largest building when it opened in 1949, symbolizing Rotterdam’s post-war reconstruction.
- Hofplein - This seemingly ordinary roundabout holds a special, almost spiritual significance for Rotterdam locals, largely due to its connection with football.

- Stadhuis van Delft (City Hall Delft) - Walk by Delft’s historic town hall as we leave Markt square, and learn about its significance.

- Museum Prinsenhof Delft - Opposite the Old Church, explore the Prinsenhof, a former monastery where the Father of the Fatherland was assassinated in 1584.
- Gemeenlandshuis van Delfland - See Delft’s oldest house with its ornate facade, home to the Water Board since 1645, and learn about its importance.
- Markt - Return to the central Markt square, where an electric tuktuk will take us to the Royal Delft Museum.
- Royal Delft - Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles - Visit the only remaining original Delft Blue pottery factory from 1653. Enjoy an audio tour of the museum and factory, shop, and café before a tuktuk returns you to Delft.
- Markt - Back in Delft, you’re free to explore the city or head back to Amsterdam. We can assist with evening plans or travel arrangements. Enjoy your night!

In this full-day experience, you will visit Rotterdam and Delft, perfect for anyone that wonders what Holland has to offer besides Amsterdam. This tour includes transport, a fast boat ride, lunch on a picturesque square, a visit inside a Cubic House (you won’t find that in Amsterdam!), 2 tuktuk rides, tickets to climb the second-highest church of the country and tickets to the Royal Delft museum.
The fastest (and most comfortable) way to get to Rotterdam is by Intercity Direct train. That is how the Dutch do it and that is how you will do it!
You will meet your guide on Rotterdam Centraal Station and that is where your tour starts. You will see the highlights of modern Rotterdam, our second-biggest city, both from the street and from the water. After this, prepare to see Delft, the true gem of Holland, where the Golden Age is still alive.
This tour ends in Delft, at the end of the afternoon. If you want to, we can help you with dinner there, or with coming back to Amsterdam. Enjoy!

Great day out, beautiful cities, interesting stories - We recommend this tour for those who want to get out of Amsterdam for a day, only to find out that the country is so much more than its capital city. We did this tour with a group of 6 (befriended couples) on a cloudy day in June.

Ideal way to spend a day outside of Amsterdam - We could not have got a more comprehensive overview of both cities. The guide knew a lot and adjusted the pace of the tour to our group. The whole activity truly felt all-inclusive. We were also very lucky with the weather and we especially missed Delft the moment we got back to Amsterdam. We will be back.
