Definitely a great way to start a trip! - Great tour with healthy portions that left us full and happy! Danielle was a great guide and spent time telling us the history of the food we were trying and how it ended up in Holland. The places we went were quaint and she had a great rapport with the owners so everything felt very causal and homey. My kids, 8 & 14 also really liked trying everything and seeing the town.

Great Tour with Great Variety! - Our guide, Danielle, was great and very knowledgeable about the culture and the food. The tour was an excellent introduction to the historical and cultural influences that shape the current dutch food scene. It was not what we had expected (herring, stroopwafel, etc.), it was better! There were five stops total on the trip and each one was something very different. We took the 5pm-8pm tour and it was plenty of food for dinner. The walking distance was manageable for everyone and the time between stops was the perfect opportunity to connect with other members of our group and ask Danielle questions about the city.

Disappointing Tasting - Natalie was an excellent guide explaining the history of Amsterdam and various cultural and food ties to its development. The tour today was to much walking and standing because she had to make changes in stops as we went along. Would have been nice to have water at some of the stops as the two stops for sweets made you thirsty. Disappointed we did taste Dutch cheeses and more typical food in Amsterdam, but perhaps this was because she alter the tastings.

Amsterdam Food Tour - I was expecting more from this tour, perhaps too much. I didn’t find the selection of food exceptional. I personally enjoy it when there a larger social and cultural history presented.
