Great relaxing way to see Amsterdam! - The audio was very enjoyable to Listen to. It gave us wonderful insight on interesting spots in the city! Our canal cruise captain was funny and very social!!

can not walk far - this bus can not go into the center of the city roads are too small but it does give a nice ride around the far outside of the city good if you can not walk far

Unfortunately not a second time for us... - What a disappointment this was. We only had 2 days in Amsterdam and wanted to see and do as much as possible in the city. A hop on hop off - ticket for the bus and boat seemed most appropriate to us as a family. We paid 132.75eur and took the boat twice for some stops (not even the full tour) and 1 time the bus (not the full tour either). With the handy app you know where the buses and boats are located. You are therefore heading to a pick-up point, but there is a mega queue of people who want to take the bus and the bus stays away. After questioning an employee, today is exceptionally busy. We had tickets for the Rijksmuseum, so we had to get around on foot or by public transport because with the hop on hop off - bus we were never going to get there in time. We were at the bus boarding point an hour before the time slot in the Rijksmuseum. A full tour by bus takes 1 hour. We only had to travel half a tour, so being at the pick-up point an hour in advance seemed sufficient, not so. When we came out of the museum at 5 pm and wanted to take the bus, we had to wait a very long time again. When the bus finally arrived, we could only travel a few stops as the tour was over. It wasn't even 6 p.m.? We have addressed an employee about this. He took a picture of our tickets and went to present it to his boss. We haven't heard anything so far. We recommend everyone to take a day pass for public transport of 9.95 eur per day. This way you are a lot cheaper and you actually get somewhere.

Disappointed - We are in elderly couple visiting Amsterdam for the first time. We were looking into getting the hop-on Hop off a bus. We advised the person selling us the ticket that we had previous reservations at Anne Frank house and that we wouldn't get out until 5:15. The last run for the bus is at 5:30. He told us that we would have more than enough time. We were told to download the app but we're not given any further instruction that the app had real time. We were advised to go to three different stops by three different people and ended up missing the last run of the day. Being in a strange country and being older and not understanding technology we found that we were very much misinformed. I tried to contact the company and they basically said too bad so sad you paid for your ticket and the boats were running. I think it's very bad customer service. We were in a strange country we did inquire the people and signs posted were not clearly marked. We previously did a Hop On Hop Off in London a few days before and it was very well marked employees were there with distinguished uniforms so they were easy to identify. I would recommend taking any other boat tour if you're in Amsterdam that maybe would be a little bit more accommodating to seniors and maybe explain things a little bit better. We advise the man selling us the tickets that we had a very limited time because our flight left the next morning so we weren't able to use the full 24 hours... which was fine but we ended up paying for the tickets and not being able to use any of it and ended up having to walk back to our hotel because the last boat was already gone

No tour - There was no tour. The company is out of business. I checked at the tourist office at the train station. She told me the bus no longer stopped there to go to the Market. We went there and the tourist office at the market said the tour was out of business. I am very disappointed. I would have thought Trip Advisor would have removed the listing if the tour was out of business. I have requested a refund. Please advise

Deflated Tour - We could not locate any stops. Also, no route map was shown to let us know that the bus did not go into the city center or nearer more popular sites. We would not have purchased tickets otherwise.

Terrible tour - Probably the worst hop on hop off tour I’ve ever done. Overpriced. Repetition of facts/lack of facts. Lots of adverts. Just generally terrible. Avoid

The worst HOHO Experience EVER!! - Don't bother! The worst Hop On, Hop Off we have ever experienced. The app is meant to show where the bus/boat is in real time - it doesn't! Bus stops are almost impossible to find without Google. We waited over half an hour to board on day one, and then one stop later the driver got out to have a smoke - and another half an hour had passed. Three further stops on, and the driver announced he was waiting for a further ten minutes while people visited the Gassen Diamonds place. That's not the concept of HOHO! We aborted at that point as we were booked into Anne Frank's Huis. We tried to get the boat the following day, but the boats were non-existent. EUR150 spent to endure three stops in 75 minutes!
