E-biking through the Dutch countryside - My 20-year-old daughter and I just returned from a week in Amsterdam. The bike tour was one of my favorite activities! We started in the northern part of the city, but then went far out into the countryside, rode thru some little fishing villages, and visited a cheese factory. The path is very flat and very easy, although she wanted to try e-bikes and they were easy to use. you could do this with a regular bike quite easily with moderate fitness level. It’s fantastic way to see the surrounding area and our tour guide was wonderful.

Excellent E-bike Tour - Excellent cycling tour highly recommended. We cycled through lovely countryside areas on the outskirts of Amsterdam using E Bikes and our guide was great, friendly, helpful and informative. Apologies I forgot his name I think it was Gus. We stopped off at a cheese making factory with a display of how the cheese is made and you can sample various cheeses, drink and biscuits. Excellent tour and it was really great to get out of the city for the morning.

Go see the countryside but don’t book here - The bike shop & tour guide were very unorganized when we checked in at 9:30 today. The tour guide was arguing with other employees about the size of our group. Speaking of group size, we had 23. Way too many for a 22 mile ride. Our guide was too quiet and we couldn’t hear her… learned nothing from her. Also there was no bike overview or details, just “we’re leaving now. We must go!” It wasn’t until mile 20 that I learned I should have my bike on turbo instead of tour…and I learned that from another guest. Tour was almost 5 hours. Returned at 2:17pm. Only reason this isn’t 1 star is because the Coubtryside was beautiful. But it was a terrible experience

Only for experienced riders, inaccurate description - The tour was listed as 3-4 hours, but our guide said it would be 4-5, maybe even 5.5. We were warned that we needed to maintain a consistent speed or we would get left behind. We were asked to bike and do a very tight turn in the street and when my daughter wobbled a bit the guide expressed doubt that she was up to the ride. All this is to say that while the description suggests a leisurely and relaxing ride, this is only appropriate for more experienced bikers and the description should be revised to reflect that. Our guide was nice but actively discouraged us from attending, emphasizing the difficulty of the ride (facts nowhere to be seen in the description.)
