Swell time in Bruges. - It is a fun and fairIy easy 1-day trip. Our guides were very friendly and accommodating. Our village guide was very entertaining and informative. We would do it again.

A fun day in Bruges. - It was very nice, The guides, on the bus and off, were really good. The guide in Bruges itself knew the city well and showed us all the important sites. In particular, in our free time. I wanted to go to a park to see some windmills. Such a park is in Bruges but not on our guided tour. He gave me excellent directions both to the site and back from there to the bus. Lastly, I enjoyed the walking pace that he set.

Bruges is beautiful - in the morning at the meeting point, it was pretty chaotic I feel. This tour company had another day tour on, plus there was also another tour company that have day tours too. So, people are all over the place because they can't find their tour group and they are confused as to which tour company does their booking belong to especially the other tour company had one that is going to Bruges as well. Bruges was very beautiful, and in the tour group there were only a few of us that needs a English speaking guide so we had a local guide that did the city tour and not the guide that went with us from Amsterdam as she was the Spanish speaking guide. the local guide shared a lot of stories and gave us a number of recommendations for food and chocolates.

Lovely Bruges - Our guide Mike gave us a wonderful overview of lovely Bruges. Great recommendations for shops and vendors to visit. Did not give 5 stars due to the guide on the bus. I booked an English speaking tour and the majority was in Spanish. Was not happy about this. Bus driver was excellent, drove us safely in pouring rain.

A great day to the historic city of Bruges. - We thought the trip and guide were good. The reason for the 4/5 was the initial meeting point and organisation of the tour groups. There was no sign to indicate that we were in the right place and no indication of which tour group to be in. It did sort, but there seemed to be a lot of unnecessary confusion.

Tip hungry guide Mike - Avoid - The trip started at 9 am and took 3.5 hours to get to Bruges and after that a speedy hour long tour with free time after that. It was almost 2 pm before we had free time and we were hungry and tired. The walking tour guide MIKE kept making references to tipping and shamelessly asked for tips at the end. Tips should be earned by good service and not by speeding through the tour and making non stop references to tips. He was also rude to some tour participants. The tour was also supposed to be in English, however the bus tour guide kept repeating everything in Spanish and English with the Spanish portion being longer since it was probably his comfort language. We reached back to Amsterdam really late with traffic and well past 9:30 pm. Overall a bad experience.
