Shiver me shots! - Was really fun-loved the shots! Our host was enthusiastic and instructions were clear…20 minute slots don’t sound very long, but it’s just about right to be honest…loved the pirate theme too…

Ice cold but very nice and very Amsterdam!! - Fun and unique experience in Amsterdam! Nice bar where you can order a cocktail and 2 other drinks if you make the choice. An introduction from the host after which you go into the freezing cold. Particularly fun and fun to experience. There are coats available!

Lovely welcome cool down! - A very welcome cool down for us as it was boiling in Amsterdam! 2 decent sized shots of flavoured vodka (highly recommend the Nutella and the nougat ones), or 2 halves of Heineken. Or one of each! Tip: if you're doing one of each, get the Heineken first as they use the same glass for the second. Well, I say glass, it's ice! Yes you only get about 20 minutes inside the actual ice bar itself, but that's because it's -9° in there. The 3rd drink you have is back in the proper bar and is a proper sized cocktail of choice.

Disappointed - Lovely idea but we was disappointed, had a lovely cocktail to start but no time to finish it , lovely little movie giving info made us very excited we got our coats on and gloves which they supply , to walk in to a small space with a few things to take pictures

Unique experience but too directed - Ice bar was unique, but the preview movie with pirates didn’t seem to coincide with the ice bar theme. The experience was fun but felt very dictated from the start, like a process.

Sad experience at the Amsterdam ice bar - My friends and I were excited to enjoy the Amsterdam ice bar experience, but were kicked out due to a rule that wasn’t posted anywhere. We saw people crushing their ice glasses after finishing their drinks, so we followed them up in crushing an ice cold beer. A waiter came up to us and rudely yelled at us, proclaiming that “we were done” and that we needed to leave immediately. We were never told this rule and we were not heard out when we told him we didn’t know. We apologized profusely but it was to no avail. Don’t come here if you’re looking to relax and have a good time. However, the pirate guy was very funny🙏

Just no. - Well…. Where. Do. I. Start? I walked in and immediately regretted everything. What the hell do pirates have to do with an ice bar. Why was it a bad dramatic performance by what I can only describe as a knock off cast from pirates of the Caribbean. Why did I have to sing happy birthday to rose 17 times? Why did we line up like we were at the school lunch line and when the door was opened it was literally the back of my freezer that I haven’t defrosted in years mixed with plastic crap stuck to the walls. Where was the ice? Why did rose keep insisting on taking photos and shouting constantly. 1/10. But. Smashing the ice glass 10/10 would do again.
