Exploring Amsterdam with Jerry - We 4 Aussies embarked on Jerry’s tour on a sunny Autumn day. We followed him around beautiful Amsterdam while he shared fun and interesting stories about the city he clearly loves. At the end of the tour we all agreed it was a wonderful way to get to know Amsterdam. Bonus, we met Jerry who is a legend! We recommend 100%.

Most Fun All Around Tour - Jerry’s Amsterdam Highlights, Hidden Gems and History Tour lives up to its title as it is the perfect mix of facts, fun and lots of surprises. The tour covers alot of ground as there are many stops in both the old harbor area and in the canal ring. This really helped me get my bearings for exploring the city further on my own. Jerry’s enthusiasm and passion for Amsterdam comes through in his storytelling, especially in his funny tales about what it’s like to live there. Since we were a small group, Jerry even added in snack stops where we ate the best cookies in all of Amsterdam and sampled bitterballen during our half-way pause. Jerry’s friendliness deep knowledge and sense of fun made this tour a real entertaining introduction to Amsterdam.

Fantastic guide who knows his way around - We struck it lucky today as we were the only two on the tour. Jerry really gets into the history of Amsterdam, including some maps from the Middle Ages to show how much it’s changed. We covered the Dam, Palace, National Monument and the old church before heading off to the Nine Streets and Jordaan areas. Lots of little snippets and great conversation about all kinds of interesting facts about Amsterdam what it’s like to live and work here. Go for a walk with Jerry, you’ll love it.

Great Tour! - We were lucky enough to have Jerry to ourselves for a walking tour on Friday afternoon. We had a great time and saw a lot of things that we otherwise would’ve missed and also learnt a lot about the city. Jerry is such a laid back and fun person to be around and we quickly felt comfortable with him. The tours are small (very small in our case!), which allows for visitors like me to ask lots of questions! Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience - Jerry is a wonderful, pleasant, informative guide. We've been to Amsterdam a few times but having Jerry as our guide we saw Amsterdam in a new light. He brought us to so many hidden gems and had so many facts about each one. The historical facts of houses, buildings, churches, shops, restaurants was incredible. I would recommend Jerry to everyone who wants to see Amsterdam the true historical way. What an adventure.

Arguably the Best Walking Tour in Amsterdam - So pleased we found Jerry and his walking tour. We did this the day we arrived and it helped enormously to get our bearings in this amazing city and to learn some of the history. Jerry took us to places we would never have discovered on our own and we have had a few days exploring on our own now and find the knowledge we gained in a few hours was invaluable. I would highly recommend this tour and book as quickly as you can before you get here. Thank you Jerry for sharing your knowledge and for making our first day so much fun.

Terrific tour and a great guide to lead it - I’ve been to Amsterdam now three times but never took a guided tour until this last visit. When “Amsterdam and You” showed up on my Facebook feed, I liked what I read, so I bought a ticket for a morning tour, which was perfect since it ends by about 1:00—just in time for lunch. I was not let down. Jerry is impressive. He has a great command of the city and its history, he’s very affable and entertaining—with a great sense of humor that makes him easily approachable. I liked that the group was small; we felt like we got a tour that was all but personalized just for us. Jerry’s a walking encyclopedia of Amsterdam, so your questions will likely get answered without a “Let me look into that.” The time disappears quickly, and I felt like I could do it all over again and probably get even more out of the next one. I think “Amsterdam and You” is quite a good value for someone visiting the city for the first time as well as those who’ve been there a few times and want more of an in-depth tour with a guide who easily holds your attention down to the last stop on the tour.

A great walking experience and I got my steps in! - I had a great walking tour experience with Jerry and his knowledge of Amsterdam. The tour consisted of a small group where we were able to ask questions as we strolled along also allowing for great camera shots. Jerry shared a lot of facts and stories as we walked through interesting areas of the city. I highly recommend this tour as you’ll be able to experience places that you could never find on your own. This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Amsterdam. Oh, and be sure to get a chocolate cookie with a white melted chocolate center at Van Stapele. Delicious!
