Van Gogh Museum Tour Insights - Lucy was an engaging, passionate and knowledgeable guide on Van Gogh who provided great insights into key paintings and aspects of Van Gogh's life. It was so worth getting a greater understanding and the open ticket meant we could re-visit the paintings and others at our leisure after the guide. Greatly enjoyable and fun. Thanks Lucy and good luck in your art studies.

Brilliant guided tour - We felt very privileged to be able to attend as when we arrived in Amsterdam we were unable to purchase tickets to the museum. Having a delightful and knowledgeable guide, Lucy van Gennep along with a small group made the experience exceptional! I would recommend this experience as it was worth the extra cost to have an expert guide who was inclusive and engaging. The absolute highlight of our week in Amsterdam.

A fascinating tour by someone who is clearly passionate about the art - This was an exceptional experience. Our guide, Ank, was super friendly, and knowledgable but also clearly had a strong emotional connection to the art and Van Gogh’s personal story which really brought the tour of the museum to life. I found it surprisingly emotional.

Great Van Gogh tour - Titia was a wonderful guide. She was prompt, provided a clear meeting place, was knowledgeable, engaging and enthusiastic. While showing us the artwork, she asked us what we noticed in the pictures. She made Vincent Van Gogh come alive. Titia also provided us recommendations for other museums and areas to visit outside Amsterdam.

Totally worth it! I enjoyed - I’ve been to the Van Gogh museum with Geneviève from Loving Vincent Tours. At first, I was going to go on my own but no tickets were available for the upcoming week. The. I decided to take the tour and never regretted it, as it added up a lot to my pleasant experience in the Van Gogh museum. I just loved the tour, the highlights, the professionalism of Geneviève and her energy. The facts about the Vincent’s life and her view on the paintings definitely shaped a new perspective of Van Gogh’s art. As a bonus, she was kindly suggesting to take pictures of us in front of each remarkable painting and got us a sweet treat afterwards. It was a nice gesture adding to the great tour. To sum it up: the museum is fascinating and the tour is just impeccable.

We now understand 'Vincent' - The guided tour that was delivered by Titia complimented the presentation at the Van Gogh Musiem perfectly. We were given a deep insight into the artist's life, influences, creative development, his sad demise and legacy and eventually how he influenced the next generation of artists. Absolutely recommend this guided tour to those who wish to know Vincent on a deeper level. Thank you Titia!
