Cheese Clog Windmill Day - A lovely day exploring The Netherlands outside of Amsterdam. We saw a different way of living in Giethoorn which was very pretty. Enjoyed the cheese factory and clog making along with windmills.

Cool shoe making demo, delicious cheese tasting and the best hand made chocolate milk I've ever had! ( at a low, additional cost ) Awesome tour guide, Jay, included! A long day but worth it!

- We had a great time. Everything was as described. Our driver and guide were fantastic. Thank you Jay! This is the only way to see both places in one day. While both are touristy, they both give you a sense of what Dutch life must have been like years ago. We were the first bus to make it to Zaanse Schans and that allowed us to see it with the least amount of people around us. While we walked a bunch, it’s really up to you on how much walking you want to do. The bus is always close by. The bus also has a bathroom in case you need it and you can leave your stuff on the bus while you go look around. They give you water along the way.

Fantastic Guide - Ibirham was a fantastic guide. He had lots of enthusiasm and so much information to share. Our favorite part of the tour was honestly driving through the country and hearing his commentary on everything we were seeing. The windmill town was cute but the stops here felt quite manufactured. The second half of the day was nice and the town was adorable but with the hour long canal tour starting about 1:15 we didn’t have time to eat until well after 2. Overall we enjoyed our time but there were definitely some improvements that could be made to make the day even more enjoyable.
