Nieuwmarkt (Dutch for “New Market” or “Newmarket”) is a square in the centre of Amsterdam, Netherlands. The surrounding area is known as the Lastage neighborhood. It is situated in the borough of Amsterdam-Centrum. Oude Kerk, one of the city’s oldest churches, is an eye-catching landmark with its stained glass windows, vaulted roof and gothic spires. Oudezijds Armsteeg is home to a picture-perfect row of six beautifully restored Delft Blue houses. - Staalmeestersbrug - The Staalmeestersbrug is a classic Dutch draw bridge in Staalstraat, that crosses the romantic canal Groenburgwal. With the Zuiderkerk tower in the background, the bridge offers a splendid location to take pictures. - The Amstel - One of the most beautifull place on the Amstel River with a panoramic view where take selfies or pictures. - Magere Brug - The Magere Brug (English: Skinny Bridge) is a bridge over the river Amstel in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It connects the banks of the river at Kerkstraat, between the Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht. - Rembrandtplein - Rembrandtplein (Rembrandt Square) is a major square in central Amsterdam, Netherlands, named after Rembrandt van Rijn who owned a house nearby from 1639 to 1656. - Bloemenmarkt - The Bloemenmarkt was the world’s only floating flower market.[1] Founded in 1862, it is sited in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on the Singel River between Muntplein and Koningsplein in the city’s southern canal belt.[2] It has 15 souvenir and gift shops, with only a few still selling fresh flowers. Today, the market is one of the main suppliers of dried tulip bulbs and tulip paraphernalia to tourists visiting Amsterdam. - Herengracht - The Herengracht is the second of four Amsterdam canals belonging to the canal belt and lies between the Singel and the Keizersgracht.
