This private tour on Amsterdam’s canals on a quiet, heated boat will give you a front-row seat to the 10th annual Light Festival. The artworks are best viewed from the water. The edition in 2021 is the most varied yet, featuring the best sculptures from previous years.
This boat cruise helps communicate the message of the pieces. Your guides have a background in art and personal contact with some of the artists featured in the past 5 years. See the festival the best way possible and hear an insider’s perspective only available to our team.
This tour is ideal for couples or groups of up to 12.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled tour starts. The start point is at the parking for bikes next to an office building with the sign “ Huis Marseille”.
Keep an eye out for an off-white boat with a cream top.

Intimate and cosy boat trip - Great tour through the prettiest part of Amsterdam. The host was relaxed and enthusiastic, he knew a lot about both the area and about the art pieces. The cushions were heated and there were blankets so even in the cold and rain we were warm and very cosy. He put the best Dutch snacks on the table: stroopwafels, Dutch cheese amongst other things. The boat is small and quiet so the setting was really intimate, way more romantic then the big noisy boats we saw on the way. Very good pick!

Informative and relaxing tour - Very relaxing experience, great guide, very informative. The boat was just perfect for our group of 7, small enough to be cosy, big enought to have comortable space. Overall super experience.

Great trip - We did the Amsterdam Light Tour with family and friends. The heated seats were very comfortable. Rocco moves the boat (electric and noiseless!) very smoothly through the canals. He tunes in very well to the guests when he tells his story. And he ensures that all guests, whether they are seated on the left or right, can clearly see the light objects.

Once in a lifetime thing. - One thing that I want to say Infront the whole world is that Rocco and his Romantic Tour Amsterdam is the most immaculate, full of passion and professionalism, true to his love and passion of providing an unforgettable experience.
I proposed to the love of my life in his boat, and even though I was stressed about organising it, Rocco and his service went above and beyond to match what I wanted. Let me say this - it was even better than planned.
Rocco, you deserve everything and more. My recommendation goes out to everyone !!! If you're going Amsterdam - Rocco is your man for the greatest experience you'll ever have!!!!

Enjoyable canal trip - Light sculptures were unlike other holiday experiences. The trip went at a pleasant speed unlike most other canal boat tours. Nice small number of passengers in the group so we could enjoy each other’s company. Tour guide was very informed about all the sculptures origins. Warm seats!

Don't wait - book this, you won't regret it! Great experience - I can't emphasize enough how great this tour was, and is one of my favorite experiences I've ever booked in my travels. Rocco was a great tour guide and is knowledgeable and brought his personal experiences which made the whole tour intimate and special. The history and personal anecdotes were great and I highly, highly recommend this experience. I would rate more than 5 stars if I could!

A great and fantastic tour - We loved very much to be so close to all the light - and the guide, who knows so many facts and stories about all that.
The little boat gave us a private atmosphere and the possibility to enjoy the tour by hot drinks and tasty foods.

Shocking! - If you want to see lights in Amsterdam, you see better lights down the red light district!! Running over an hour late with no organisation. Awkward to see anything in over crowded boats that were over sold. Unless you were facing forward you couldn’t see anything anyway, however it didn’t seem that much was missed
