Gerard gave a 5 star tour - I'm not sure if the tour changes depending on the guide but Gerard was absolutely fabulous! Not only did he take us to some of the best food I had in Amsterdam but he taught us so much about the history and architecture of the city. The canal cruise was also gorgeous!

Eating Europe - Good food, bitterballen was excellent, don’t be afraid of the fish! Boat tour was first, then the walking. A few beverages throughout the tour. Small bits of history throughout the time

Good food. Good tour. - It started with the boat which also has some included alcohol. Then bitterballen, which was good. Then tiny Dutch pancakes. Then Indonesian satay. Then Indonesian sandwiches. Then some fish dishes. Then apple pie. Food was good and Gerard was fun and helpful.

All-in-One Tour! - This was a lovely food and canal tour with our guide, Danielle. She kept spirits high despite some rainy, Amsterdam weather. The vibe of our tour was definitely more “hang with a true local” than “detailed history.” The food was delicious, and it was interesting to learn what “Dutch” food can consist of! The canal cruise was also a lovely way to cap off the tour and check off an Amsterdam tourist must do. I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a way to spend a few hours eating, drinking, and hanging around Amsterdam!

Great walking food tour through Amsterdam, with a canal tour to top it off. Eating Europe rocks. - Our guide, Danielle, was delightful, informative, and welcoming as she walked us through the streets and past the canals of Amsterdam on the west side of the city center. We were able to taste a number of delicious foods and learn of the story or history behind each one, and Danielle clearly had a solid relationship with the folks working at each of our stops. We also learned a lot about the history of Amsterdam, its people and its canals as we meandered from one food stop to the next. This all culminated with a nice hour-long canal cruise ( while enjoying a final tasting of bitterballen with a beer (or wine) accompaniment. We have done a number of walking food tours on our trips to Europe, and this was one of the best.
