Canal cruise on Kings Day - Captain makes the fifference. Great Captain, even on Kings Day. Captain was flexible with cruise. Very knowledgible of Amsterdam.

Captain Ricky made this tour extra interesting and fun. - Thanks to our captain Ricky and the sunny weather we had a great canal tour through Amsterdam. I live in Amsterdam and had a cousin day including family members from Canada. Also for me it was nice to do the canal tour because it is the best way to look at all the historical buildings of our beautiful city.

Wonderful cruise with beautiful views. One hundred percent recommended. - A very complete and pleasant cruise with wonderful views. We really liked the whole family, the best thing was Ricky, our captain for the canals of Amsterdam, who made the tour a very enjoyable and enriching experience, extending comments and funny jokes to the recording that could be heard in multiple languages. Perfect quality price.

Nice canal tour. - Nice trip, the boat went after the route. We had read a little bad when we bought tickets so was a little disappointed as there was only sound on speakers and not live guide. The sound on the speaker was a little low at times so it was difficult to get what was said. But nice trip, worth the money...

Good vale boat trip - For the price this was a good trip, however the organisation at the Pier wasn’t great. We’d pre booked tickets but it wasn’t clear where to go and we weren’t offered the free drink. Once on the boat the tour was interesting and informative.

Many people, lots of noise, no guide, you can barely hear the commentary - Meh. We live in Amsterdam and I have bunch of boat tours, this was by far the worst one yet. It was a pretty chilly day and a closed boat sounded more appealing, the boat runs every 20 minutes and it was pretty cheap (16.50 if paying there, 15.50 online). There is only a boat captain, and all the announcements come over the loundspeaker in English (I had asked if I needed headphones and they said no, if I HAD my soundproof headphones with me, I could have tolerated this all much better). For other languages you listen on your phone. Some people did that more quietly than others, some people didn't listen at all and decided to talk loudly with their tipsy buddies instead. So you basically can barely hear the announcements. But at least I could show my friend the beautiful canal houses from the water. And there IS a toilet on board. Not a complete loss, but definitely not a great setup if you are actually interested in listening to the commentary.
