Great day out visiting excellent sites with timings flexible to your wishes - If you want to visit Phillipi and Kavala without the hassle of being in a large group this is definitely the way to do it. The driver was flexible with timings to suit our wishes. Going to Lydia's baptistry was much better that spending time on the beach I Kavala. If you like independent travel this is worth considering despite the extra cost

I had a great experience... - I had a great experience on this tour. It was just me but I still had a great time. My tour guide and driver John picked me up from my Airbnb with cold bottled water, drove me to the sights with lots of interesting info about the areas we were passing. He was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole tour. I am satisfied.

Kavala & Philippi unpacked. - Private day trip to Philippi & Kavala fulfilled our expectations. It was a long but interesting drive to see the giant statue of the Lion, firstly, then onto the archeological site of Philippi, named after King Philip II of Macedonia, which covered a very large area near Kavala. The story of The Apostle Paul’s establishment there, of the first Christian Church in Europe in 49AD & his subsequent imprisonment there, was of great interest, which our knowledgeable guide explained. The long drive is well worth it, especially if you have a driver who provides interesting commentary along the way. Thankyou, Yonnis, for a great day.

A very interesting journey into the history of Greece - A great journey through history. Fie excavations in Filippi are worth seeing. Our driver and guide Ionnis was able to tell us many exciting details about all points of the visit. Really intetessant and highly recommended.

Thessaloniki is worth it - Thessaloniki is an interesting city with many churches, monuments, shops and restaurants. It's nice to look at these especially in spring

Beautiful trip - Our trip to Kavala and Philippi with iGoHellas was excellent! We had the chance to discover the footsteps of Apostle Paul in northern Greece and then explore the city of Kavala which had to show u many gems!

Highly recommended for anyone! - An unforgettable day trip to Kavala and Philippi with the wonderful guide Stella and driver Ioannis! Stella’s passion and deep knowledge brought history to life as we explored the ancient ruins of Philippi, including the theater and the site of Apostle Paul’s imprisonment. In Kavala, we admired the beautiful harbor, the aqueduct, and the charming old town. Stella's engaging storytelling and personalized touch made this journey through history both enriching and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a meaningful and memorable experience in northern Greece!
