Visitors can reach the summit via a steep staircase of over 1,700 steps, with several other temples and groups of grey long-tailed macaques inhabiting the cool mountain forests along the way.
• Tirta Gangga - Tirta Gangga Water Palace is a renowned attraction in Bali, designed and built in 1948 by Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem (1887 - 1966), the last king of Karangasem.
