A beautiful, calm place - This is a small chateau but its location, its history, and the gardens make it very special indeed. I had never really thought about then introduction of oranges to Europe but this place played a vital role in it. The link to Mary Queen of Scots is fascinating and her story is told well (in French). This is a calm place but well worth the visit.

Magnifique Château - The rooms decorated for Christmas are just sublime. Too bad it rained we were not able to enjoy the gardens fully but we will return to the sunny days. Beautiful castle!

Italian paradise in the heart of town - Magnificent castle hidden in the this town of Amboise. It is surrounded by vegetation leaning against a hillside. The energy of the place is soothing, it feels very good! Dom Pacello takes us to Italy with citrus and cypress trees from Italy around the alleys. For furniture lovers, you will find your happiness, a meticulous work has been done to refurnish with period furniture. For those who prefer gardens, there are plenty of walking trails to do as well as the majestic plane tree path worth a look, and of course the first orangery in France. You can also sit on the benches and take the time to admire and observe nature. Finally, the castle and its architecture. The restoration work that has been carried out to restore this little gem of early renaissance is exceptional. In short, you have to visit it! In addition the welcome is very warm.

RUN ... - Beautiful castle, beautiful halloween decoration but very excessive price for a small castle. The hallucinating Halloween surplus in addition to the mandatory entry, with a ridiculous discount if disguised. Might as well abstain for the only micro pack of candy give as a reward to the child. The value for money is not worth a visit. Very disappointed. Non-Renewable Experience

Flight - 16€ per entrance ticket, 26€ per lunch menu, cooked by a chef? No, microwave-heated dishes cost €6.50 each from the brand "true and good". That's true and gross. To finish a small nespresso coffee at 5€ and a grapefruit juice at 10€. The owner has dared to justify by answering me that the products are good and quality. Imbus of his person, does not support criticism, 26€ is theft and it is the price of a menu in a real restaurant. You really have to be off the plate to say otherwise.
