Excellent day out. - Absolutely brilliant day out, had this bought as a birthday present and it was amazing. The museum itself is well laid out with some brilliant examples of British motoring heritage, my personal favourite being an absolutely immaculate RS2000 Escort, with a rather fitting story. I got to drive a Daimler V8 with a unique and rather top end feature for its day of moving the seat back and steering wheel forward to allow easy access and egress! A Capri Laser (which is like trying to turn a cross channel ferry!) I’ve been told they are acquiring a 3.0l Finally, and a bit off the wall, was a Ford Granada Scorpio… the car my step dad had when we moved to Nottingham. At the time it was executive luxury with walnut dash, 6 CD changer in the boot, and a heated windscreen! The cars are well maintained and honestly I’d still drive the Granada today! It drove like a dream and was very mell mannered for a big old boat. The staff were lovely and well informed and everything ran very smoothly.

So good I joined the club! - Fantastic assortment of 'Dads' cars, although I drove most of the ones on offer in my younger days, so I chose the Austin Healey 3000. The car was in good order and sounded great. The instructor was brilliant; she gave me full instructions and directions, was very friendly, chatty and really personable. She enhanced the experience greatly. My daughter bought this ride as a father's day gift, which was a great idea. Part way through the drive we stopped for photographs which you can purchase afterwards. On completion of the drive we did a tour of the comprehensive museum of British cars, fantastic! I have since joined as a member so I can visit as many times as I like and go on club outings and gatherings. The cafe was great too. My daughter and son-in-law had breakfast whilst my wife and I had cake and coffee. All in all, a fabulous experience I recmmend this experience to everyone!

Nostalgia all the way - I was bought a voucher to drive the Hillman Imp, a car my parents owned when I was 5 (51 now). Turned up to see an absolute plethora of classic cars all waiting or being driven and was telling my daughter how much I loved this car or that car. It was then my turn to drive. Daughter hopped in the back (I even remembered how to operate the seat lift) and we were off for a 20 minute drive around the industrial estate for a few laps. Understandable that we can’t drive on the actual roads but still it would have been nice. Included in the voucher was access to the museum and I have to say I was impressed at the range of British cars on display. I’d have liked to have had the chance to sit in a few of them (Ford Fiesta mk1, my first car) for some nostalgia but again I understand why. I’ll definitely go back and try the interactive option to get a more immersive feel.

Amazing day out - Booked this for my step dad's 60th Birthday. We booked him the Garanda MK1. It was a lovely day out. All drives get free access to the museum and we paid for our admition which was only £17.50 each. You are able to enter the museum and cafe as many rines as you wish. Toilets really clean too. Staff are really friendly and help. You can tell all the cars are really looked after. Cafe food is lovely and has lots of choice and reasonably priced. My step dad would like to book some more cars he loved it that much, he said the instructor was really friendly and chatty. Even gave him an extra lap due to a slower driver, which was extremely kind of him.

Luxury travel at Drive Dad's Csr! - We have been to the museum couple of times and we live it. Last time I bought my husband a Father's Day gift of driving a Rolls Royce for 20 mins which I thought was really good value. The gift did not disappoint! It was great. We paid an extra £10 for 3 passengers and did 4 laps with a very pleasant and knowledgeable member of staff. Easy to book, efficient service on the day. Highly recommended!

British Car Nostalgia - I've visited many car museums in the UK, and also in Australia, France, Malta and Sweden and found this museum have found it's own niche. A great trip down memory lane as most of the cars were cars that would be seen regularly by most people and not exotic cars only seen in magazines and on posters. You can pay for a chance to drive several of the cars around the museum service roads, which was great fun, particularly as I did drive a car my dad owned back in the day. Friendly and helpful staff in the museum and cafe.

Good place for Dads and Kids! - Good place for Dads and Kids! I took my grandson and two nephews and spent a happy morning diving model Land Rovers, racing Hot Wheels, riding in a Land Rover, and looking at the cars. The shop was a bit basic but the Cafe was good
