The journey begins at 9:30 AM from Darsena Pier in Amalfi, heading towards Positano*. Here, you will have 1.5 hours to stroll through the charming narrow streets, shop at local boutiques, and admire the historical landmarks.
Once back on the boat, the skipper will guide you to La Gavitella in Praiano, a traditional restaurant with a breathtaking sea view**.
Following lunch, the tour continues to the Fjord of Furore. You will also pass by the Emerald Grotto (optional entry, ticket not included), Conca dei Marini, and the Natural Arch. Before returning to Amalfi, the tour will also visit Atrani, renowned for the Marmorata Waterfalls.
During the trip, there will be one or two opportunities to swim.
Passengers will be provided with water, soft drinks, Limoncello, and prosecco.
Guide in Positano not included.
*The restaurant option is available from May 15 to October 5. The lunch price is not included in the tour ticket.

Highly recommend!! - Great experience touring the coast with our captain! He was super friendly and funny. You get to see the gorgeous amalfi coast and had an amazing lunch with a stunning atmosphere. I probably wouldn’t have seen some of these places otherwise. Would definitely recommend this as part of your itinerary in the amalfi coast!!

Best boat experience in Europe! - This was the BEST experience! The staff were so kind and funny. I accidentally bought the tour leaving Amalfi when I was staying in Positano and they let me swap for the reverse (started in Positano and traveled to Amalfi) by messaging on the Viator app the night before without issue. There was plenty of time to swim, the boat was a little rockey (not enough to get seasick) and you’re in the sun most of the time so definitely wear sunscreen. The cave tour of the grotto was SO mind blowing! There was no line to see it during peak season July, and I’ve heard there can be a line to see the blue grotto in Capri so I’d definitely recommend this. The water is incredibly beautiful, we had so much fun. Highlight of our Euro trip!

- We had a fabulous day on the water and touring the coastline. Our kids loved the swimming, jumping off the boat and snorkeling. We appreciated the refreshments and slower pace of the day so we could relax and enjoy it all. Angelo was our guide for the day, he was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Enjoy Amalfi Coast from the water - We had a fantastic experience. We had plenty of time to enjoy the view, swim, and visit Positano. The crew was kind and very knowledgeable about the area. For us, departing from Amalfi was a bonus.

Awesome Boat Day - Overall this tour is amazing. You are in the boat for about 5 hours out of the 7ish hours in total. We stopped to swim a few times, stopped for lunch for about an hour, and stopped at Positano for around 1 hour. I was nervous about sea sickness before getting on but I had no problem throughout the day (took motion sickness medicine beforehand). It is definitely a little bumpy at times. If you sit in the front of the boat you will be in the sun the entire day. Sitting in the back there will shade most of the time. The views are amazing. The lunch is good. And I felt there was enough time in Positano. I definitely recommend this tour.

Great one day tour - Very beautiful gentle ride from Amalfi to Positano and back. The boat had good shade but also plenty of space to lay in the sun. We stopped three times to swim along the way. Very comfortable Boat. We were a few minutes late, but the captain graciously waited for us. Our bus had been delayed. Excellent day!

Best Amalfi boat tour - Ricardo and Manuel were awesome! They provided a fun filled day exploring the coast. Lunch at La Gavitella was great and the staff were wonderful ~The group with us was also amazing! We couldn’t have had a better time!

Worse service and twice DE price than a few years ago - This company has changed a lot, for the worse. Several years ago we rented a boat without a captain, since we all had a current DE captain license, and we have gone POR the Amalfi Coast to Capri and back, with a small boat DE this company and a very good price, close to 350€ for the whole day. After several years, this July 2025 we have rented again a boat similar in size and capacity to that time, but the return through Amalfi WITHOUT possibility of going to Capri and WITHOUT possibility of piloting the boat, that is with mandatory Skipper, has cost us more than THE DOUBLE (770€). The price we accepted, but we assumed NO, since it was THE SAME BOAT and above twice DE price, that you could NO longer go to Capri, where another group of people was waiting DE us. When we called from the boat to the company asking why we could NO longer go to Capri as the skipper had just told us, he told us that we had hired ONLY POR Amalfi. Our mistake was NO good reading of the small print, but on top of the email DE confirmation of the booking nothing said about NO going to the island DE Capri, DE anyway the complaint comes because it has become a worse service: much reduced the course and without being able DE ride ourselves as previous years, POR twice DE price and without being able to go to the islands, we find EN simple bad service, which has worsened rather DE improving and giving more to the customers, especially the regulars who return from time to time. They will be right, but the experience, and the POR phone deal, has been really negative. Good thing the Gaspare skipper was excellent, friendly, friendly and well disposed. POR we scored 2 and NO 1. We will NO longer hire with Positano Boats, as there are cheaper options DE rent your own boat and pilot it yourself to where you want. We recommend checking the fine print VERY WELL if you hire this company.
