Fun for the children - So we did splash landings water park which the children loved it was very clean staff where friendly only down side was I found it not that warm inside I expected it to be slightly better heated but it was a very cold day outside. Secondly in the evening we stayed in the CBeebies hotel the room was amazing and just set up great for sharing a room with the children we all got great night sleep the entertainment was good and food also nice. The only downside was as it not a peak time we found hardly any staff around on our way from water park we stopped at main hotel to get drink in bar we could see others with drinks but after waiting 15 minutes at the bar with no staff in sight we carried on to CBeebies hotel when we got here it was a good 10 minutes before a staff member arrived to serve us even though reception advised the bar was open we found the same when we went down to dinner in evening it took a while to be greeted. But overall was a fun experience and both my children loved it

Rap card disappointment - What a lovely day. We went to see the fireworks. It was not busy. There’s was no rush and the queues were not to bad. Only downside was the RAP cards were not available so had to spend £120 on fast track for 2 disabled children therefore it wasn’t inclusive.

Super! - We had a marvellous time, it is really geared up for families both for younger children with Cebeebies Land and older too with larger rides. Going at this time of year meant the queues weren't too long around 25 mins and under for most. We stayed at the splash landings hotel and the splash patk was excellent. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The Halloween shows and entertainment were magical.

Oversold, platinum fast tracks not worth it and stop people vaping everywhere! - Went for Scarefest for 2 days. Both days only 4 of the thrill rides opened at the opening time of 10am. The remainder were scheduled to open later at either 10.30am or 11am. So these ride immediately got big queues. I do feel they oversell tickets as the park was heaving. Every thrill ride was down for some of the time on the Thursday and Rita never opened for the whole 2 days. Bought platinum fast track at £150 each for the first day. Not worth the money. You don't always go to the very front of the queue, more like join it part way down depending on the ride, so you can still be waiting 20-30 minutes once you've passed the fast track entrance, and that's if the staff member scans you through straight away. I did experience that they were letting massive amounts of the normal queue through and then just one or two fast tracks. Paying that price I would expect to go straight to the front of the queue. A massive issue for us was the amount of people vaping in this place, and this is in ride queues and walking around the park, not in the designated smoking areas. No one says a thing to them. If you are going to make announcements about it then also enforce it! People are taking no notice. On a positive note (struggling for these), burial grounds being free was a nice touch, seeing Hex back after such a long time was great, the rides we did get on seemed well maintained and the decorations were beautiful. That's as much as I can say really and I so wanted to love our visit.

Gutted it wasn't what we expected - Me and my family stayed for Halloween 🎃 in the splash landings hotel and feel to be honest it fell short of expectations. We live relatively local and for the high hotel price wish we had travelled back home. We had waterpark tickets for the morning then a room for the evening with theme park tickets for the following day after we checked out. All started well amazing in the waterpark kids had fun then check in for an evening of fun. To our surprise everything offered entertainment wise was available in any hotel for anyone (even if not staying in the hotel) which isn't a problem at all I can't fault that but what I don't get it is what your exactly paying hundreds of pounds for if you can walk in after a day in the park have usage of all of what the evenings had too offer then travel home? When the entertainment finished we went back too our room and after 10minutes into getting the kids ready for bed we had the power cut too all our room lights and with 2 kids they were abit worried that they couldn't see anything in the room as it was pitch black. There's a number that's supposed to be 24/7 tried too call but you get an answer machine message to explain its closed until the morning so then I had too leave my family in the room walk to reception to resolve the issue. Then my final confusion was we booked at the restaurant for breakfast in the morning no room was asked for just a name and what time we wanted to eat and in the morning walked straight in so again paying alot of money to stay and eat but in theory could of gone to all the entertainment for free drove 15mins home then 15mins back in the morning to have breakfast for free so all in all value for money isn't there at all. Water park perfect theme park perfect hotel package personally save yourself alot of money use the facilities then book a nice bnb I'm abit gutted to say the least. :(

Awful - Was absolutely sold something we didn’t want….we booked the splash landings hotel with the understanding we had access to water park and breakfast included…..once we arrived they told us the water park was not part of our deal and charged us 25 each for family of 5 and it closed at 4 we only had 2 hours in there….they were a joke as we never would of booked that hotel if water park was kit involved in the deal…then the roller coaster restaurant the meals were all over the place cold not together absolutely ridiculous….and then tried charging us for breakfast the whole day was 300+ quid and we didn’t even go on the theme park an absolute scandal of a so called special offer
