Nice compact tour to Lake Issyk - Nice compact tour to Lake Issyk with our tour guide Shakh and small group. Lake Issyk is a beautiful small lake. We were lucky to have great weather during our trip. Access to Lake Issyk is a big pathway that leads to the perimeter of the lake. Museum exhibition-they have interesting collections but presentation could be improved.

Beautiful Day Trip to Issyk Lake with Stunning Views - As a part of Almaty tour went on a day trip to Issyk Lake, and it was a fantastic experience. The lake is surrounded by mountains, offering gorgeous scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. The drive to the lake was smooth, and we had plenty of time to explore the area and take in the views. Our guide, Shakh, was helpful and provided interesting information about the history of the lake and the region. It was a relaxing, well-organized trip, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a short escape into nature from the city.

An awesome Issyk Lake experience - The tour experience was one of the best that I had in Almaty. I would like to express my gratitude to Shakh Zhakhan and Medina for organising this entire tour. The pickup and drop was very comfortable. The lunch was amazing and the games we played as teams were the cherry on top of the cake. Optimal time was provided to all the group members and Shakh and Medina ensured that it’s an amazing experience for all. This is one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had with any other tours. Thanks for making this a memorable one for me.

Highly recommend - I like that our tour always kept time. Our guides Madina and Shakh were friendly , helpful and warm. Madina was very humorous and kept us all engaged. She gave us alot of information about Kazakhstan and engaged us in games and we all got to know one another within the group. The restaurant we stopped at was very good and clean. They made sure to stop at clean gas stations for us to use.. Highly recommend!

Nature at its best - Forget the much talked about emerald look of the lake , the lake and surrounding area looks stunning in mild snowfall. Our trip started well in time at 9 AM with Madina being our tour guide . She is s a witty and thorough professional who engaged our small group throughout the trip with light banter , music , games etc . She even carried chocolates for the group ! Now the lake - we reached the lake amidst light snowfall that brought out nature’s beauty and color contrasts even more . The area looked more like the Kingdom of Narnia .The know covered red , green and orange leaves were a treat to the senses . Surrounded by snow , the lake looked pristine and beautiful . Our next stop was for lunch where our group was well taken care of my Madina who helped every member of the group decide the food due to language barrier . Our last stop was a museum of the golden man that provided valuable insights into Kazakh history and culture . We are glad to have undertaken this trip !

Great tour to a quiet lake - An awesome day trip to a very beautiful lake. The lake is emerald in colour like in the pictures and it’s very quiet with not many tourists around. A true hidden gem! My tour guide Azamat speaks excellent English and explains things in great detail. He got us water and chocolate too, very hospitable.

Issyk Lake lost in mist - Everything was organized very well. Unfortunately, there was heavy fog when we arrived at the lake, so we couldn't see much of it. However, the trees covered in frost and the silence of nature created a special atmosphere.
