- Nationaal Biermuseum De Boom - The tour passes by the iconic building of the beer museum, which is the largest and oldest brewery in Alkmaar. This Beer Museum, formerly a brewery, once produced 33 different types of beer. It is now open to the public as a museum.
- Kooltuin - Kooltuin features a charming small canal. This historic canal was once the garden of a monastery.
- Het Huis Met De Kogel Uit 1557 - During the Spanish occupation, Alkmaar witnessed intense battles. The house with the bullet serves as a symbol of this conflict. Legend has it that when the Spaniards fired a bullet through this house, it destroyed a table, a chair, and a spinning wheel, yet miraculously, the seven residents remained unharmed!
- Luttik Oudorp - The tour passes by the narrowest house in Alkmaar. This was a clever tax strategy, as taxes were based on the width of a house.
- Fnidsen - This area is home to charming shops. A visit to the Korpsla vegetable shop is highly recommended.
- de Visbanken of Vismarkt uit 1755 - Across the water, there are benches that resemble shelters. Nowadays, they serve as terraces or bicycle sheds, but in the past, this was where De Visbanken traded freshly caught fish.
