- Tall Ship Providence - Step back in time and into the life of a sailor serving in the Continental Navy under the command of the legendary Captain John Paul Jones in our immersive one-hour tour.
Guests will come aboard the ship under guidance of a sailor straight out of the 18th century, visit the quarterdeck, main deck, the captain’s cabin, and the hold of the ship. A senior sailor will assign you a position and a role which you will learn about during the course of the tour, and you may even learn to load a cannon! Learn about Providence’s history and the role of the Continental Navy during the American Revolution directly from a skilled team of sailors living aboard the ship.
