• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only fully preserved image of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine discovered in a later period temple ruin at Abydos in 1903. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.
