A Mini food walk around Alex - Waleed did a good work of taking us on a food tour downtown Alexandria The tour started with eating some egyptian delicacy: liver in bread. The liver was good but would have been greater with more onions. He did do something extra and took us to the St Mark Coptic Orthodox church, and it was its remembrance of the bombing. We took a long walk downtown Alexandria, and he gave us a tour on other parts, monuments, and structures, including the Opera. That was really commendable of him. Then we did some coban drink, kofta, baba ghonish. Turkish coffee and not forgetting egyptian sweets. What could go better: Take the customers to an Egyptian type local resturant with different types of food mixes(a table with little portions). Also reduce the walk around and add some interaction with the local chef. Have more food choices... Egypt food is vast and varying.. But overall I would say with all the improvements it would be better because Waleed is a good guide. What was great: the history discussions
