Informative, scenic, historical - What a wonderful day out this is. If you're interested in seeing a different side to Majorca this is a must. I wanted to see a few mountain villages some dramatic coastline & see the famous Soller tram. This trip delivered everything, it was exceptional & Catalina our guide was so informative & comedic too. I only came to Majorca for 4 nights & this tour was the highlight of my visit. Thankyou " No frills excursions"

Professional, friendly and caring guide and coach driver 🇪🇸 🇬🇧 - I felt compelled to write a review as Catalina (our guide) and our bus driver (sounded like Michelangelo but not sure, apologies) were so informative and friendly. My partner and I paid €46 each for a full 8 hour excursion from our hotel in Puerto Pollença to Valldemossa, Soller and finally Port de Soller. It was my partner’s birthday on the day and we had, as a surprise, ‘reserved’ seats at the front of the bus! This information must have been passed from the lady at the shop in Puerto Pollença when we booked it the day before, as I had said that the excursion was a birthday present. How wonderful these days to have that happen! We stopped at a retail outlet for a comfort break. Well, next time we are in Majorca, we are definitely visiting the shops there as it seemed a great place to buy clothes etc as well as eat in the cafes and restaurants there. That sounds fairly materialistic but for a few hours, why not? We then headed to Valldemossa and experienced our second unexpected birthday surprise. Catalina had visited a cafe and on return to the coach, presented my partner with a cake with a candle and we all sang Happy Birthday to him! This was such a kind and thoughtful gesture and these days of financial worry, especially with businesses having to plan out every expenditure etc, a genuine care of customers. Valldemossa was beautiful and our guide knew her stuff at every turn of a corner. On to Soller and again, such care for tourists were evident as the driver negotiated the bendy roads with calm and professionalism. The tram from Soller to Port de Soller was delightful and our guide had booked all the carriages on one tram just for our coach group. This was another thoughtful professional decision as the area was very busy and other trams were practically crammed full. After an hour or so at the relaxing port, we headed back to the hotel. To conclude, we are so glad that we chose No Frills, as the informative, friendly, caring manner that our guide and driver were a credit to themselves. We will not hesitate to book through No Frills on future visit to the beautiful island of Majorca ❤️

Highly recommended - Great tour, absolutely worth it! Good amount of time at each place, we had coffee at Valldemossa, lunch at Soller and ice cream at Port de Soller. Dori, our tour guide was very informative, shout-out to her and our driver Hernando keeping us safe on the bendy roads! Amazing views!

A fantastic way to see two unique places - Great experience with a fantastic guide. The timing of the itinerary was perfect. The guide was bubbly and entertaining. I love how at every stop she gave us options to do on our own, along with recommendations and exact times to be back to the bus. Very informative and professional.

Great itinerary, well organised, good value - No Frills Excursions day trip to Valdemmossa, Soller and Port de Soller by bus and tram: We were picked up at 9.20am about 100m from our hotel in Puerto Pollenca, clear instructions and a link to a map of this location was sent to us prior to the departure day. The coach arrived within a few minutes of the scheduled pickup time. The trip was well organised and I would definitely recommend it if you wish to visit the UNESCO World Heritage area of Serra de Tramuntana and see some of the prettiest villages in Mallorca including Valdemossa and Soller. Both villages were busy being a Saturday in July, but it wasn’t difficult to explore away from the crowds. On this day we had 1.5h in Valldemossa, 1.5h in Soller, and 35m In Port de Soller. There was sufficient time to visit the attractions in town or explore the surrounding countryside, I walked to Moli de sa Beata for the excellent views of Valldemossa. I will include some photos from this path with this review. The coach was clean, comfortable and air conditioned, the driver Fernando was in charge of avoiding obstacles on the mountain roads. There was an excellent multi-lingual commentary by our informative guide Jeannine during the journey. The return journey to Puerto Pollenca took quite a long time as other passengers were dropped off in Can Picafort and Alcudia, we returned to our hotel in Puerto Pollensa at about 6pm. There is an alternative, that is the Island Tour which I did on a previous occasion. This included a train ride and ferry, an exciting drive down to Sa Calabra and a chance to walk over to the entrance to Torrent de Paries, however the island Tour does not include Valdemmossa which is very special. Do both if you have time, can afford it, and want a break from the beach!

Amazing Mallorca tour for all generations. - I was looking for a tour that would be great for my elder parents and teen kids. This definitely fit the criteria and was exactly as advertised. We got good luck with great weather in an otherwise very hot week. The tour guide, Catalina, was one of the best we’ve had. We loved her stories and good humor. Her recommendations were all spot on. The first stop at Valldemosa was our favorite and simply lovely. Sóller was overcrowded but that’s no fault on the tour company. The tram ride was really scenic. If I had one recommendation, it would be to allow more time at each stop. There wasn’t enough time to eat, shop and tour. We’ll definitely have to go back and visit these towns again.

Valldemossa and Soller is a great day out. - The Valldemossa and Soller trip with historic train ride is a very interesting trip with beautiful scenic views. We sampled local food and drinks, which were all wonderful. We were so full we weren't hungry for lunch. The train ride is delightful. An enjoyable day out for the whole family, young, elderly and everything in between. I highly recommend. Don't forget your sunblock, cap and water bottle.

Great trip - also for singles !! - Very well organized, very friendly staff. Luis has given sufficient information in 2 languages. Organizationally clearly structured and informative. Beautiful things seen. A trip at the price/performance is right.

To be reviewed - There was no quick exchange of information so we suffered inconvenience to get to the meeting point with additional expenses.

Decent Trip, But Zero Support When Things Went Wrong - The trip itself was decent for the price, but what happened to us was quite disappointing and not something we expected. We unfortunately mixed up the meeting time (our mistake, as it was clearly displayed before the break), and when we arrived at 4:45 instead of 4:15, the bus and guide had already left without us. This left us stranded on the other side of Mallorca with no clear way to get back. We eventually made our way home through 4 hours of public transport, several bus changes, extra costs, and a lot of stress. Our guide, Catalina, had everyone’s phone numbers and told us she would have waited an extra 30 minutes for anyone who was late. However, this was not the case, as we were at the meeting point half an hour after the set time and found no one there. More concerning, she never attempted to call us before leaving. When we phoned her—unaware the group had already departed—and asked how we could get back to our hotel, her only response was: “I’m sorry, I don’t know, maybe bus.” With our bag still on the bus and a nearly dead phone battery, this was very unhelpful. Because of this lack of communication and responsibility, I cannot recommend this company. The way they handle their customers feels rather superficial, and perhaps another operator would provide a more reliable experience.
